Voters on Friday diverged from the legacy media messaging that created a firestorm over GOP presidential candidate Donald Trumps doubts whether he would accept the results of the 2016 election, keeping him ahead in polling, including a substantial lead among independents.
Real Clear Poltiics reported the IBD-TIPP tracking poll had Trump leading 41 percent to 40 percent, Rasmussen reports had Trump up 43-41 and the L.A. Times/USC Tracking had Trump ahead 45-44.
Only if one would assume that third party candidates Gary Johnson and Jill Stein would be removed from the ballot is Clinton ahead of Trump, then by a 43-41 margin, the surveys show.
The analysis of the IBD polling, which is a national poll of 789 likely voters and has a margin of error of 3.6 percentage points, explained that voters seemed unmoved by the mainstream medias outrage over Trumps statement that he would keep Wednesday night debates moderator in suspense about whether he would accept the results.
Wednesdays lively presidential debate featured a comment by Donald Trump to a question from Fox News moderator Chris Wallace, who asked whether Trump would respect the results of the Nov. 8 election if he feels the vote was fraudulent or rigged.
Ill look at it at the time, Trump said. He added, Ill keep you in suspense.
Yet, despite a media and political uproar over Trumps comments the New York Times piece Thursday ran under the headline Donald Trump Vs. American Democracy, while the Huffington Posts shouted Trumps Shocking Answer On Respecting Election Results Is The Only Debate Moment That Matters voters didnt appear to agree. The IBD/TIPP poll showed little if any erosion in Trumps support.

Stupid setup question: I agree.
Will you agree ahead of time to a fixed World Series?
Uhhhh....no...
It seems CNN has decided to go full blackout on Trump rallies now. Up until recently, they aired almost his full event. The past two I have tuned in to, Fox was carrying live but CNN was on a different topic altogether.
Yep. we must accept the results, but gore doesn’t have to.
Since he doesn’t drink...wine is out. I’m sure his wife has his “ahem” parts in a lock box...so there goes women.
Song? “Trump sings the National Anthem off key” Deliberate slight to Patriots and the Nation or a key sign of impending Dementia....stay tuned to the discussion on the next IDIOT 5!
Yep, a vote for Trump is also a vote against the corrupt enemedia.
Johnson will end up with about 2% and the rest of his support he’s now getting will go to Trump. Stein really despises Clinton so her supporters might also go to Trump or sit home.
I agree with you on both
Levin said tonight that Hillary was probably going to win big. Heh. He was wrong about Cruz, too.
Considering the the d.em operation against Trump the fact he is tied or has a slight lead in some of the online polls is a miracle at this point.
Everyone in America knows the dead vote for Dems. It is a national joke, yet the Clinton media gets all outraged.
Pray America wakes
Much of the ‘Woke” public has learned to either decode or ignore the media’s latest hysteria. I include Fox News with that media to some degree. Most are primarily after ratings, or if that’s off the table, they are after approval from their media peer groups. Behaving like obedient little puppets should behave.
Trump does not drink so it won’t be booze. He doesn’t smoke anything tobacco or otherwise.
The womanizer stuff has about played out.
That leaves taxes, racism, he’s really a space alien
Trump is a breath of fresh air because he broaches the subjects that the political elite wish to keep hidden from the public and forces them to be politically debated. His ideas are better than hers, and just bringing up those ideas has already started change.
The MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.
And don’t forget the parent companies, Disney, Comcast, Amazon.
