Morocco gets US support for their mining operations and claims to territory that was originally controlled by Spain (if I remember correctly, Spanish Morocco). The locals were semi-nomads and nomads. Formed a leftist, Soviet/Algeria armed movement known as POLISARIO who fought Morocco to a stand-still for many years. They might still be holding hundreds of Moroccan POWS after 20 years.
Some terrorism still going on in Morocco. Might be POLISARIO linked but definitely is Al Qaeda linked. 19th Hijack of 9/11, Moussaoui, was a Moroccan.
Morocco has been a pretty good ally of the US but they definitely have to improve conditions in the contested areas.
If Morocco fell to radical Islamists, it would give Al Qaeda or ISIS a key geographical jumping off location for all of western Moslem northern and western Africa (Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania - a basket case) and possibly into black Africa.
If this is not grounds for putting Hillary in prison for life...this treasonous bitch should be put in front of a firing squad and executed for all the crimes and corruption she continues to do...............
