Saw a brief clip from WSB-TV in Atlanta yesterday, and they reported 3-5 hour wait times to vote. Crowd outside the polling place had only a few minority voters; not sure if it was in a suburban area or in Cobb or Fulton counties. If it was inside the city limits, the Dims appear to be in serious trouble, because key elments of the Obama coalition—at least in that crowd—were noticeably absent.

Keep an eye out for more women in line than men..that’s an indication the beast is pulling in the female vote!

Same story in the People’s Republic of Athens/Clarke County, though. Heavy early voting the first two days. It seems that both sides are very energized.

You have to account for their age and where they are. Paulding County women don’t vote Dem.

In the 90s, Gwinnett was strongly Republican. As the demographics have changed over the past 10 to 20 years, it is becoming more competitive. I have some good friends originally from Houston who moved to Lilburn in 1992. They loved it there at first. Then the area started to change. They moved to Canton (Cherokee County) in 2013. The gentleman friend always says that Gwinnett County has ceased to exist. It is now “DeKalb County East”.

Democrats always get out the early vote, but to see GOP voters out voting early shows some enthusiasm.

The most decisive factor in Georgia is the relative African-American turnout. Up, and Hillary could come close. Moderate or Down, and not a chance.

I moved to Alabama in 2013 but when I lived in Douglasville and early voted, I was that stray white out speck in a novel of dark ink.

They might have been voting in another states.
