I’ve never seen them with subtitles, and frankly, you’d miss out on a lot with the voice-overs, there are certain things that Koreans do when they speak that really spice things up, and they’d get lost in the translation.

Found this article, also trying to get the relation - I believe the latest story from Amy Schemer,is that she’s a distant cousin just as you say, (she’s a real piece of work according to the original interview), and you are correct.
Hard to see why Schumer would find sexual assault objectionable - it’s usually the kind of thing she jokes about.....
