Wikileaks' founder Julian Assange's Internrt link has been cut off due to a state party's inteference, the organization said in a tweet Monday.

When the Government uses the immense resources of the State to silence its critics and abet criminals connected to the governing Party, you are no longer living in a democracy. Add this to Court sanctioned voter fraud (striking down rationale Voter ID laws on the false premise of discrimination) and the Republic is one election - this election! - from sliding into the abyss of one-party rule.

I’d say more likely they are hashes to verify if/when the big file is made available, those who download it can tell they got the real deal.

Agree, this is also very likely and, now that I think about it, more likely given the flow of information. Using hashes to verify the source of data and encrypting data are two sides of the same coin anyway.
