Now we see why the control of the internet was given away.
So a based Londoner went and with hone and periscope to the Embassy and asked to see Julian..Security was a a little shaky...that is maybe or maybe not hiding something...said an appointment had to be made on line. Things looked rather nonchalant and normal. There was a Blue (G4?) van across the street from the corner of the embassy...He went to go get an expresso down the block a little ways but he left his wallet at home and they wanted three pounds for coffee. Last I saw he was walking down the block as he realized that in that neighborhood he looked very suspicious..

The goal was probably to do it quietly but when they cut off Assange’s internet access it triggered the dead man switch and his associates were alerted. Sounds like their OP is shaping up to be a huge PR disaster.
Weren’t there reports that if this happened, he had a “dead man switch” where all documents would be released through other means?

Thought you might be interested. Not sure what exactly is going on, but if Assange temporarily lost contact his friends might have assumed the worst.
