I think the point can be made via noting that Sid was not a federal employee as needed (which as FYI means his emails only b/came federal records if used in the course of Dept business - so some were if forwarded and acted on and some weren't if nothing was done with them). But not sure it is worth the technical debate.
So in your if pushed, you could say:

If any of the hackers can find those missing emails, it will be utterly devastating. Those emails were deleted because they show exactly why the US went into Libya.

To expand, These emails were being shared with a non gov employee. He was an employee of the CF. So what Classified information was being revealed to Sid and why was it on an open server?

This is such a joke. She is committing crimes in her emails and the press will only cover the Trump bashing by paid Clinton supporters. Many of them have already been outed as liars and Clinton supporters, some even working for her.
We are at the brink of war with Russia because of Hillary’s meddling in the Middle East and only the foreign press seems to be reporting this.
I’d be willing to bet the house that the 16 emails to Blumenthal were about the gun-running operations in Libya and Syria.

It probably wasn’t the more recent e-mail that was sensitive from her aspect, rather the forwarded portions from prior e-mails. Most e-mail services include the e-mail that the correspondent is responding to. The incriminating portions may be much further down the chain of e-mails.
