What is your Anecdotal evidence that the Trump movement is real and the Polls and Media are lying?

Freepers and Treepers (also here)....

What is your gut and eyes telling you about this race? Forget the polls, landlines are .09 of the aggregate. The Media and The EGOP establishment and all Globalist was DJT destroyed Politically....

Frankly my eyes and my heart tell me different.

Here are some of my Anecdotal stories....

* Airline pilot friend tells me electronic scratch pad to leave the replacement team any squawks on the aircraft has A.B.C. on it, aka Anybody but Clinton.
* Overheard some construction workers yesterday on a campus saying something about "Bill" and then Trump said, and laughter, my take? they were ragging on Bill...
* One of my friends tell me in one of his mens group in MI is a senior doing Uber. He ask his clients who they are voting for not one has said Hilda, they are all for Trump.
* Novi Trump rally ( and so many others ) 1/2 line to get in and we stood in the rain to get in.

Tell me what you see and what your gut tells you....

Lutz's last panel of undecideds were 17 DJT 9 HRC 4 undecided 17/30 -'s 56% for Trump, the same number "Sundance" over @ "ConservativeTreeHouse" says will be Trumps percentage in the general. Ditto that the Straw Poll at the Iowa fair, it was 56% as well...

I look forward to your stories,

E Pluribus Non-Carborundum, Don't let the SOB's wear you down!

His movement may be real but honestly, I don’t think it is enough to win. I have been lukewarm from the beginning for Trump. I vacillate between rabid support and oh my God that was stupid of him. There is an ad here in central Ohio that is a killer and I have to tell you, it makes me shudder because I agree with it. I have a tough time excusing a man who mocks and makes fun of a handicapped person. When Trump did that, I think it was disgraceful, proved nothing except his stupidity, showed his character and lack of judgement and I think will be the nail in his coffin. I will vote for Trump, because of Hillary and I have never voted for a Democrat in my life and never will. But there are plenty of swing voters who will be swayed.

Just talked to a guy that works for Southern Co. at the Steam Power plant. Union guys. Dem’s war on coal is killing them. Don’t know if they will be able to survive. They have recently(last 3 years) spent huge money on a natural gas pipeline to the plant.

Mentioned my former stepson works, or worked and the Jim Walter(coal) mine in Brookwood. My guy said that “yea, there’s almost no one still there and they don’t see how they are going to keep the mine open. Union mine.

Anyway. My point is that Trump is going to be getting a large part of the Union vote that has always been a big Dem bloc.

To your post about 0zer0 in NC at a rally with a “reported 7000” (which just matches seating capacity) while actual pictures showed it about 1/2 full. The same thing happened with Hitlery at Ohio State. Media reported it her biggest rally to date at over 18,000. But a couple of Reddit posters took the photo of her rally and counted every single person there and came up with 3062. Just more examples of how the media is completely lying to promote Hitlery at every chance.

I have a tough time excusing a man who mocks and makes fun of a handicapped person.

It's too bad that you fell for that false accusation.

It's been totally rebutted.

Suffice it to say that Trump has made fun of non-handicapped people using the exact same gestures. Not recalling that this reporter was handicapped, Trump certainly made a bad choice, but, factually, it wasn't what it seemed to be.

There's more detail to the refutation than what I've summarized, but it is patently false that the video you're referring to depicted Donald Trump making fun of a handicapped reporter on the basis of his handicap.

I leave it as an exercise to you to confirm the remaining details.

I have three sons of voting age who have never voted before.

Two of them are definitely voting Trump. The third doesn’t like either one and will maybe vote third party but will definitely not vote for Hillary.

By data, I am simply talking about the polls. Look at the RCP average. There are outlier polls, but average them and you get something fairly accurate. It was accurate in 2012, it will be accurate in 2016.

What doesn't help is lying to yourself and saying your are winning when you are losing. It deprives you of the chance to make changes that could actually gain votes.

If you think Trump is winning, he should do exactly what he has been doing. If you see the data, and see he is losing, then you know a change of strategy is in order.

And if you think polls are bad, how much dumber is it to be driving around counting campaign signs to make yourself feel better?

That is my experience here on Long Island, too. TONS of signs for the local races and hardly any for the Presidential race. I have one neighbor who is a died-in-the-wool lib (public school teachers, BTW), and he does indeed have a Hillary sign out. It is the only Hillary sign I’ve seen in my area. I do see Trump bumper stickers, though.

I too think people are playing this one very close to the vest. We shall see.

As for Trump, I wish he’d do another rally in the black community, as I see an opportunity there. He speaks so well about how the liberals have utterly failed them, but I’m not sure they will hear him if the MSM won’t report it. He should go to them directly. IMO.

Regards,

My kids will go on reddit and read the wikileaks. That’s what I am pushing.

Plus, my husband and I both had top secret clearances, and our kids know we are experts in that area.

I think they wish the libertarian candidate was better.

I watched Trump make fun of the guy when he did it, I didn’t fall for anything, I saw it. It has absolutely not been refuted, he DID IT, plain and simple. There is no excuse and if people don’t want to have sympathy for a handicapped person, thats fine. But have the sense to realize that when Trump did it, and if nothing else, it showed extremely poor judgement for a person running for POTUS. Not everyone can be beuuutttuuuiful and a little bit of compassion goes a long way.

Great thread idea Taildragger. In the past 3 weeks, I have encountered the following here in California.

(1) Met a 30 year old Hispanic man who owns his own plumbing business - voting for Trump, thinks Hillary is the biggest liar he has ever known.

(2) Twenty three year old Hispanic cosmetologist, putting herself through college - voting for Trump, former Bernie supporter, absolutely hated Hillary, thought Hillary stole the nomination from Bernie.

(3) Twenty eight year old white male, sales rep for an agriculture company - voting for Trump. First time voter, thinks his future is over if Hillary wins the election.

(4) Met just yesterday a twenty five year old white real estate agent, she and her fiancé are both strong Trump supporters. Actually is making plans to leave California but may decide to stay if Trump wins, (her family is in town).

All of these young people were employed, smart and were all paying very close attention to the issues and the election, they all gave me hope. I was especially pleased with the Hispanic guy. He said that his family were going for Hillary and are shocked at his decision to support Trump, but he didn't care what they thought. His support was solid and had actually donated to Trump's campaign.

I work in a town of around 7,500. TWO Hillary signs I’ve seen so far, admittedly I don’t prowl all the streets in town, but Trump signs are everywhere, including hand painted signs, some 4X8 sheets of plywood. Hand painted Trump on pickup truck windows, etc. A club I belong to that is quite NON-political, well, everyone gets really REALLY fired up talking about Trump. Even way back in the primaries. I was surprised. Being way more up to speed than anyone else I know except friends and family, I usually keep hushed, and let them speak. It’s Wildly pro-Trump out here.

“By data, I am simply talking about the polls. “

Yeah, I know.

Now take your defeatism and go sulk. Because you are trashing people for what they see around them, while looking at a random sample that is weighed for whatever reason, by people you don’t know, to produce a random number that you take as “scientific”.

Wow....how open and shut.

“If THAT happens, it’ll shock everybody.”

I think it is possible because the polls have been reported as extremely skewed. They simply make up numbers.

It doesn’t matter in which direction a poll is wrong. Off results indicate bias in the model, usually because they work from exit polls that are 4 yes old.

Bill Clinton never got a majority.

This time, there is no third-party candidate drawing 20-30% of polling either.
