Geraldo Rivera reversed course early Wednesday morning, saying that he does not actually have additional tapes of Donald Trump making troublesome statements.
The Fox News personality apologized to Trump on Twitter for claiming earlier this week that he had unreleased videos of the Republican presidential nominee making comments that "would be embarrassing."
In fact, Rivera said, all he had were tapes of Trump's comments about comedian Rosie O'Donnell, whom Trump has called "fat," a "pig," and a "loser."

The aim was to "do harm"....Now would that be libel or slander??...and worth a few mil.
Geraldo is being influenced by his wife who is a big Hillary supporter. Probably both of their families on Geraldo and his wife’s sides are supporting Hillary too. Geraldo is torn between his experience with Trump when he was on The Apprentice, and that he likes Trump personally, and the influences his family on both sides are having on him. Problems, problems, problems, and Geraldo stands to lose either choice he makes.
Publicity to a celebrity is like heroin to an addict. They crave it and will do or say anything to get it.Aging celebrities who are ignored are the most miserable people imaginable.

Just remember, the initial story is what people hear, retractions however.....not so much.
The people that were threatening to release other tapes were trying to pressure Trump to quit. When he didn’t he called their bluff. You will now see some major backtracking but we remember who backstabbed the nominee. Et tu, Jerry?
