A top Hillary Clinton aide's email was grossly misrepresented on Tuesday morning and twisted to suggest the Democratic nominee had "begun to hate everyday Americans."
The false narrative was born when WikiLeaks published another batch of emails from John Podesta, the chairman of the Clinton campaign.
In one message to Jennifer Palmieri, communications director for the Clinton campaign, Podesta wrote: "I know she has begun to hate everyday Americans, but I think we should use it once the first time she says I'm running for president because you and everyday Americans need a champion."

“2) By acknowledging this they are actually admitting the leaked emails are real! “
Busted.
That’s why it is off my viewing list.
She’s speaking on Climate Change now in Miami:
Says she’s going to ‘cut oil production’ here in the states by a third.....make way for wind farms.
“Didnt read the article, but my take on this is that they meant she didnt like the PHRASE, everyday americans. Thats what I took it to mean in context.”
Said not one word about a phrase, but did say Americans. Doesn’t a high powered highly paid executive in government know how to write clearly?
So what? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Let them them worry about it.
08/02/2016? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
FU TROLL
What about one of the Wall Street speeches where she calls people”Buckets of Losers” that is pretty bad.
I am both a Deplorable and an Everyday American and proud of it!
Doesnt a high powered highly paid executive in government know how to write clearly?
I’m not trying to defend ANYBODY. It’s just that when I first saw the phrase and saw the context surrounding it, it was pretty obvious to me that that they were talking about the PHRASE, “everyday Americans” and not everyday americans.
So she doesn’t hate Americans? Maybe her spokesperson who wrote the email hates Americans and those were her words not Hillary’s but someone wrote it.
If the writer meant she hates the phrase it would have read hates term “everyday Americans”. That’s not what was stated.
In one message to Jennifer Palmieri, communications director for the Clinton campaign, Podesta wrote: "I know she has begun to hate everyday Americans, but I think we should use it once the first time she says I'm running for president because you and everyday Americans need a champion." (Emphasis added.)
Jennifer did not say ILLary has begun to hate the phrase "everyday Americans." Jennifer said "she has begun to hate everyday Americans" and then recommended using the term anyway.
Just more LSM coverage for ILLary...
Hey, two things:
1. read my post just before this one. I’m not trying to defend them, but we need to choose our battles. Choosing the wrong one can make us look stupid. I know, I argue against liberals on the web since aroun 2004. You need to have your ducks in a row or you’ll get your butt handed to you.
2. I used to be Cuban Leaf and, before that, Robroy. I’ve been here since November of 1998. :-)
I have this name because it suits my status. Some of my neighbors call me that because my situation is like the characters in Green Acres.
I despise the crooked slug as much as humanly possible but this isn’t what many are believing it to be...Podesta is implying that she hates to use the term “everyday Americans” in her speech...
Don’t worry though, in a week or so we will be able to read what she really thinks when Wikileaks releases the emails to and from Podesta to hrc herself...
they are just trying to:
....in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry....
I like your #2.
Plus, she really actually DOES hate us.
If the writer meant she hates the phrase it would have read hates term everyday Americans. Thats not what was stated.
And let me be perfectly clear: I am no apologist for that woman. I’ve had her number since I protested against her health care plan when she visited Westlake Park in Downtown Seattle back in the 90’s. I consider her one of the most evil people in politics.
But I choose my battles and want to be sure I don’t look like a fool for choosing the wrong one. And that is the voice of experience talking.
She calls Saudis and the likes ‘sand-iggers’...it's in print...
She calls Mexicans ‘taco bowls’...it's in print...
She calls Americans ‘deplorables and other things’...it's in print...
So Hillary, trying to back your fat butt out of what you said, everytime your mouth is open you are lying, so keep it shut, maybe we might get lucky next time and that fly will fly down your throat!!!
That’s a deplorable statement!
