Where the presidential race stands today (Fallout From Comments? Trump +3)
LA Times ^

Posted on 10/08/2016 8:27:27 AM PDT by TigerClaws

The USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times "Daybreak" poll tracks about 3,000 eligible voters until election day, asking on a regular basis about their support for Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump or other candidates as well as their likelihood of actually casting a ballot.

We update the data each day based on the weighted average of poll responses over the previous week. That means results have less volatility than some other polls, but also means the poll lags somewhat in responding to major events in the campaign. More about the poll and why it differs from others.

Do you think it is true? It just sounds so sensational.

.... Would love for Trump to respond at the debate when the “Lewd Comment” subject is brought up by saying the following: ..... “Well as you know I did apologize for those remarks ..... Heck .... I really believe at the time I was just Channeling my “Inner Bill Clinton” ..... BUT ..... On the bright side ..... At least I didn’t leave anybody out there to die!”

Sorry but Bull... I mean really what planet do you live on. grow up and live in the real world that word is about as offensive as saying Shi t...

To be honest if we live in a country where we have the majority of people think 10 years ago you said the word pussy in a private conversation somehow disqualifies you for president...and yet he’s running against people he didn’t just say a word 10 years ago.. but 20 year ago bangs an intern in the Oval Office with a cigar and been accused of rape and covering it up

Then this freakin country is beyond done

Really is there any comparison between the two candidates on who actually treats women better and with more respect?... one word is more horrible.... then dozens of physical actions?...

No offense but you’re completely nuts if you’re not outraged about this fake outrage then you’re insane

I’d still vote for him once, twice, ten times if it were only allowed. Have heard that in some places it is, it is allowed! Where is that again?

“...going to be bad for Trump...”

Maybe not at all. I am a happily married (30+ years) to a faithful husband mother and grandmother, and this remark from Trump from 11 years ago does not does not faze me in the least and I suspect that most normal women are (not) reacting as much in the same way.

If snowflake women are so upset about locker room talk from 11 eyars, ago then they are married to beta males and have no idea about men.

Not the I condone this talk, of course, but the faux outrage is beyond silly and the faking of prim and proper outrage response in this reality TV culture just does not resonate with normal women.

Grown women have heard this kind of talk from men before. Like myself. And my wife- who is a devout Catholic- has had no issues talking about men’s junk on occasion (not in public of course!)

The people that are truly offensive are the talking heads on Fox News and the Republicans now denouncing Trump for his crude behavior of ten years ago. Where was this outrage about the F bombs Illary lobbed around the WH for eight years???

Trump needs to hang tough the way libs do when they've done something illegal. They NEVER quit, nor should Trump, especially since his words aren't even illegal.

For the record, I could care less what he said. I am simply providing my analysis of how I think this will impact the race.

The voting public has about 30% swayable opinion. They want change but Trump hasnt closed the deal with them. This may sway some of them awas from him.

Does that make them betas who should grow a pair and get past this false outrage? Yes.
Does that mean theyou should see thru the inevitable media “he’s a sexual predator” spin? Yes

Some will. A number of them won’t and mocking them or pretending that’s not how a large chunk of society thinks is folly.
