The Sara-Nussbaum-Haus Kindergarten in Kassel has made it clear: no Christmas tree, no Christmas songs, no Christmas spirit. Kassel is a city in central Germany; approximately 12% of the population of 200,000 are foreign or have foreign roots.
Teachers will forgo Christian rituals to accommodate the “diverse cultures” of their students. A city representative announced, “There will be no Christmas celebrations, in the strictest sense. Because the majority of children at this Kindergarten are not Christian, Christmas will not be celebrated in the way that it is at other schools.” The city of Kassel confirmed that there had not been Christmas celebrations at this particular school for the last few years. This was not an official city policy, but rather an unofficial decision of the school’s administration.
Because of the high percentage of Muslim children at the Sara-Hussbaum Kindergarten, teachers at the school must pay special attention to make sure the children don’t swap food at lunch. This will make sure the Muslim children do not eat pork. Pork is not offered on the school’s menu.

So when Christians are majority they can’t celebrate because it’ll offend other ‘cultures’. When Christians are not the majority they can go f themselves.

What basis is there to then turn ‘round and say they don’t integrate? This is more reason the celebrate Christmas with more emphasis.

Named in honor of the Jewish holocaust-survivor, Sara Nussbaum. So it's actually fitting that they won't be celebrating - or even acknowledging - Christmas anymore.
