What if She Loses? If Hillary loses the election, the Democratic Party is in big trouble.
US News & World Report ^ | October 7, 2016 | Mary Kate Cary, Contributing Editor

For the last year, all eyes have been focused on the future of the Republican Party. Pundits love to talk about the collapse of the party, the fractures between social and fiscal conservatives, the number of party leaders who say they will not vote for the GOP nominee and what the party will do to rebuild the day after the election – in the wake of what the media now believes will be the defeat of Donald Trump.

But here's what no one is talking about – the one awkward subject that will stop a Washington dinner party cold and send guests into stunned silence – and that is, what if Hillary Clinton loses the election? Right now, it looks like the GOP will hold the House, and my U.S. News colleague Joseph Williams wrote recently that there are growing predictions Republicans will hold the Senate as well. If the Republicans sweep the House, the Senate and the White House, the Democratic Party will implode....

Unless the repubs make the necessary changes, there will always be plenty of parasites and people who have envy and resentment against achievement. They'll be back.

Your post is spot on...

I find it amazing that people, especially here, think Trump can by himself unlock the stranglehold on government by bureaucrats that they have on us...

I disagree. We heard this with Bush in 2004, when Rove supposedly had this magic potion to “destroy” the Dem Party. Turns out he was working with them.

There are several things working against this:

1) Just the general ebb and flow of American two-party politics. No party stays dead for long.

2) Not that I don’t wish Trump the best, but even if he succeeds he will make many enemies in the short run, just as Reagan did. Whether the programs work quickly enough is the key. Reagan was able to ride out two bad years, then the economy turned in 1983 and then he had several good years. So opposition will not go away.

3) More than any time since 1908, there is a fifth column inside the Republican Party seeking its demise. The first time it was Teddy Roosevelt. Now it’s the RINO/GOPe wing. These are hard to beat, even if you temporarily defeat them.

It’s bigger than that. They will be going to jail and they know it. That’s why it is getting so vicious toward Trump for all sides.

“I may be wrong, but I believe Trump knows just what the democrats plan as far as voter fraud goes and has quietly got some leverage to uncover and stop a lot of it...”

I agree, this election will be different because Trump is a fighter, he’s proactive. He’s just not going to roll over and admit defeat like Romney.

No matter who initially wins, there will be a huge fight.

If republicans stay true to their nature, they’ll still give the libtards everything they want. Hopefully a President Trump can stop some of that idiotic thinking. IMO, I think the libtard cheating in this election will rival that of turd world dictators.

It appears so. If Trump loses, this country and western civilization is finished.

“a greater and greater percentage of the population will be getting some kind of government check”

That reason right there is enough to compromise most people’s principles. Heck, just look what it does to people once they get into office and realize they can vote themselves and their cronies all kinds of cash. Then they pass out checks to the voters, essentially buying their votes. You’re correct in that our nation has reached a point where there’s so many people receiving those checks that it may be impossible to turn it now. However, I will still continue to encourage people to vote for Trump!

"Yes but if Trump loses the GOP is in big trouble."

The GOP has been in big trouble for awhile.
The GOP "base" is sick of the GOP/Uniparty
traitorous bastards who are running and ruining the party & nation.

Forgot about him. The list is very long, starting with the House and Senate leadership and any member who continues to support them. They all need to go. Because they will form the nucleus of those who will buck President Trump at every turn. The GOPe will now work to sabotage Trump with the naissent idea that they can return to the “normal way” of doing things if they just make him unsuccessful.

If they will lose they will try to wait out Trump and return to power as if Trump were an anomoly. And they have the money to do that because their money comes from tax redistributions. Only if Trump can get in, and cut off their money supply, will they implode. No republican has cut them off from a dime.

Trump will not alone, but just how does even Congress cleanse DC of the hordes of bureaucrats...?

Most are unionized and are locked in...

Do what Democrats do!

Andrew Cuomo, governor of NY, within weeks of taking office asked for and got a signed resignation letter from every appointee and and executive manager in every State agency.

Trump demand a signed resignation letter from the top 200 people in every agency. Don’t turn in the letter, immediately fire them.

Liberals fear losing a public sector job more than death.

Most federal employees are neither an appointee or manager...

tip of the massive iceberg...
