Jewish leaders have reacted angrily after Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte compared his anti-drug campaign to the Holocaust.

The comment-wrongly citing numbers killed by the Nazis-was inhumane and deeply offensive.

Mr. Duterte said he would kill as many addicts as Hitler did Jews in his crackdown on users and dealers.

"Hitler massacred three million Jews...there's three million drug addicts. I'd be happy to slaughter them," he said.......

It's no coincidence that you don't find serious drug problems in countries that are ruthless in dealing with drug trafficking.

But FR's libertarian drug advocates say that war on drugs merely encourages more druggies and dealers.

Journalist Peter Hitchens has written extensively on mass killers-terrorists and their ties to drug use.

Also Boris Johnson the British politician referred to the Charlie Hebdo killers as “porn addicted losers”. There was child porn on one of their computers.

My wife and her entire family voted for Duterte. If you think corruption is bad in America, you have never been to the Philippines 🇵🇭 Corruption with a capital C. He recently sacked the head of their version of the FBI, for taking drug money. Also, the media tend to tell a lot of lies, just like the American media.

A good friend in the PI with large extended family said they like Duterte a lot. Her family has some in the mil and retired mil (Filipino) and I trust her knowledge and intelligence tremendously. They are good people, and if they like him, I trust their judgement. I figured the article was a hit piece, just like all articles about Trump are hit pieces.

Sadly, she thought Trump was a bully and stupid, no doubt the media she sees or reads is biased against him. She does have relatives in the US, so maybe gets her opinion from them. I should invite her to FR.

When I talk about the horrors of Nazism I generally bring up the 40 million Slavs Hitler murdered. Hitler openly planed divert rivers to drown entire cities like Moscow do he didn't have to waste bullets when murdering the population.

ill be the first to admit i dont know much about PI. however, my comment was to point out the stupidity of approving of government sanctioned murder.

the main difference between selling drugs and selling sex slaves is that slaves dont have a choice. so you are an asshole too, for failing to see any sort of point here
