My wife and her entire family voted for Duterte. If you think corruption is bad in America, you have never been to the Philippines 🇵🇭 Corruption with a capital C. He recently sacked the head of their version of the FBI, for taking drug money. Also, the media tend to tell a lot of lies, just like the American media.

A good friend in the PI with large extended family said they like Duterte a lot. Her family has some in the mil and retired mil (Filipino) and I trust her knowledge and intelligence tremendously. They are good people, and if they like him, I trust their judgement. I figured the article was a hit piece, just like all articles about Trump are hit pieces.

Sadly, she thought Trump was a bully and stupid, no doubt the media she sees or reads is biased against him. She does have relatives in the US, so maybe gets her opinion from them. I should invite her to FR.
