He could have put Hillary Clinton away during their feisty television debate Monday night, but he failed to do so. So what could have been a knockout for him ended in a draw, because she could not put Trump away either.
But she needed a knockout more than he did. All he had to do was show up and survive, which he did.
Mr. Nasty played Mr. Nice, and it cost him the knockout, though. Hillary Clinton lives to fight another day, and there are still two more debates on the calenda

Trump is holding his best cards for last. He knows what he is doing.
Trump is not out to score points with those who already support him. He is not out to dissuade those “never-Trumpers” who will not support him no matter what.
Trump is targeting the undecided, and he proved during that first debate that he can address Hillary as “Madame Secretary” while she addressed him as “crazy, insane, sexist” etc.
Trump acted presidential, while Hillary with her botox induced smile looked like a crazy name calling loonie.
The last thing Trump needs to do is to lose his cool and start calling her names. He needs to show that he is unflappable, and he did.
That we know. And if Donald continues being nice to her, sge will show the World, on National t.v. just how nasty and evil she actually is. And the sole purpose of these “debates” are to portray Hillary as calm, cool. and collected. While showing Donald to be a red faced lout, screaming, jumping up and down , waving his arms and clenching his fists in anger. Thus far, Donald has avoided falling into their trap,, While at the same time showing the World what a nasty, lying , bitch she is. And as far as Donald winning what some here have referred to as a legitimate news organization, a/k/a the msm “poll”, forget that. As long as the media has anything to say about it, Donald will never be right. Everything he does will be wrong. Everything he does not do will be wrong. And, last but not least, he will never win a poll.

It was Hillary who went nasty in the debate. Her digs were personal and intended to hurt. People saw that.

In the same way that Romney could not attack a half-black man, Trump cannot attack an evil woman.
But it won’t matter this time.
Clinton does not inspire confidence, no matter what the media says.

Had Trump really beat her up as she deserves, he would have been accused of being mean to Grandma.
No matter how it went, Trump was going to lose the first “debate”. The fix was in before it even started.
In the third debate is where Trump needs to deliver the knockout. The next debate he will be a little more forceful, and you deliver the coup De Grace
Timing is everything. It’s coming.
Trump kindness to Chelsea in not mentioning Bill’s massive number of infidelities, or her mother’s massive enabling of those infidelities, was repaid buy her with a screed in Cosmopolitan Magazine that pretty much condemned Trump in the same terms that her witch mother did during the debate. I’d say that Trump did the right thing, and received a spit in the face in return. As such, Trump is now free to condemn Hillary in any way that he sees fit. He needs to not merely mention that Hillary has abused in word and deed the women who screwed around with her husband, but her corruption and her utter incompetence. The second debate has to be about Hillary and her lack of fitness for the office of president. She is perhaps the major party nominee least fit to be President in history. Trump needs to list all of the reasons why in gruesome detail in front of 75 million or more people.
First debate: show that he is not a monster, or a bomb thrower.
Second debate: show that Hillary is utterly unfit to be president, based upon corruption and incompetence.
3rd debate: close the deal by showing that Trump’s policies are best for this country, its economy and, most importantly, it’s people. Further show that his experience in the business world over the last 45 years makes him perfectly suited to the job at hand.
The first debate was actually so bad for hitlery that her commie buddies in the MSM required two day to recover from the shock and present their “our hildabeast won” meme which has plagued us since. The (eventually useless) story line for Tuesday AM which was concocted last Friday emphasized Mr. Trump’s unstable temperament. When cankles realized the commie collusionists’ plan was not succeeding, she desperately added the Miss Universe comment.
Don’t fall for the propaganda and remember your own objective observations (such as the post-debate polling) which basically can’t lie.
The second and third debates will see Trump progressively more aggressive. It works better to see Mrs. bill get worse and worse. I expect the interference by the moderator and the technicians will be more heavy handed and obvious and will, as with the first debate, negate Mrs Bill’s memorization and earpiece info.
Trust me Trump won’t make that mistake a second time.
