The reason Genevive Bujold's acting was so odd in that clip...
...isn't that she thought that this was a good way to portray a Starship Captain...
...but rather, by acting this way, she'd be let out of her contract.
Bujold realized after winning the role that she didn't want to work the notorious grind of TV series hours.
