A bevy of "Star Trek" cast and crew members from multiple generations signed an open letter Thursday by the Facebook group "Trekkies Against Trump," blasting GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and arguing against a third-party "protest vote" in the November election...

“HEY! I know what! Let’s kill a franchise!”

...

No amount of lens flare can save it now.

Not only dorn, but not Roxann Dawson, Suzi Plaxon, or any of the 4 who played Worf's son.

For Kingons they have 0 for 7

I only made it through the first season of Voyager when it aired. It was horrible. I never understood why they chose *her* for that role. From what I understand, they wanted Genevive Bujold to be the captain (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SIZcDWKyw0 if you’re interested in how that might have turned out).

(Long dead thread revival...)

The reason Genevive Bujold's acting was so odd in that clip...

...isn't that she thought that this was a good way to portray a Starship Captain...

...but rather, by acting this way, she'd be let out of her contract.

Bujold realized after winning the role that she didn't want to work the notorious grind of TV series hours.
