Washington state doesn't require proof of citizenship. Therefore elections officials say the state's elections system operates, more or less, under an honor system. SMH

Oh, puh-leez!

The only reason this happens is that vote fraud is a core competence of the Democrat Party.
Therefore, measures such as verifying citizenship of registering voters or checking IDs of voters must be labeled racist.

Sec. of State Wyman is disingenuous saying that non-citizens voting isn’t a big issue here in Washington. Fact is, we have a rather large population of illegal immigrants from all over the world, the largest group of these people coming from Mexico, Central and South America. Reputable studies have been conducted that peg the number of ineligible voters at 12-25% of those here in the state either legally or illegally. The lower number is based upon the number of non-citizens who actually admit to voting in our elections. The 25% figure doubles the number to account for the non-citizens who vote, but don’t admit to doing it.
Washington is/has been a solidly blue state for decades. Trying to get legislation that would demand proof of citizenship to register to vote would be nearly impossible. These non-citizen voters have been the tipping point for Democrats in too many close elections over a lot of years. They won’t give up on those bogus voters without a hell of a fight and you can be sure it will be accompanied by loud accusations of racism.

That is unexpected. America’s domestic enemies on the left have consistently assured us that there is no vote fraud, yet this sounds like vote fraud.
