"If I were Donald Trump I wouldn't participate in another debate unless I was promised that the journalist would act like a journalist and not an incorrect, ignorant fact checker," Giuliani told reporters late Monday inside the spin room at Hofstra University.
"The moderator would have to promise that there would be a moderator and not a fact checker and in two particular cases an enormously ignorant, completely misinformed fact checker," Giuliani said.

The only thing Trump needs to do that is outside of the normal debate preparation is to come to the debate ready to turn the moderator's bias against him/her.
It doesn't have to involve getting in an argument with the moderator. If the moderator makes a point that Trump knows is incorrect, he should simply say: "That is wrong. Please back that up with evidence and cite your source for it. Otherwise, there's no reason to respond to it."
Do that once or twice, and the moderator will be back on his heels for the rest of the debate.
I think that is how the low information voter sees it. The system is against me. The system is against Trump and for Hillary. Trump says he is on my side, and Hillary says same thing. I believe Trump.
The low-information voter doesn’t care about the details that Holt challenged Trump on. Whether Trump opposed the Iraq war, or when, and the other details are not the important parts of this decision to most voters who are just tuning in. The narrative really is what matters, as liberals always say, and Holt helped the narrative.
I think Trump should debate and not hold back on any of them, Media or Hillary.
Um... not wanting another liberal moderator is NOT the same is wanting him to skip two debates.
They said the one part (skipping ) but left out the other part (unless they replace the duhmmie liberal moderator)
They CLEARLY are tryign to advance the theme of not having any more debates, to get hilLIARy out of the last two.
Trump must not let that happen- even if he has to bitch-slap the moderator to get them inline.
In fact, I think that would get him more votes- Remember the huge applause when Gingrich went after them?
Next debate is Anderson Cooper and Martha Radditz! The GOP is truly the Stupid Party.
I don’t. He’ll continue to get better, and she’ll pay the price.
Don’t think all the debates will look like last night.
He should also ask the moderator if he is there to debate him too
Ask if he think he has to help hilLIARy out?
Trump needs to meet with Gingrich who did very well when he slammed a debate moderator.
Trump should prepare a little better and show up. Begging off will look weak and will cost him. Standing tall and making cogent points while not losing his cool in the face of vicious attacks by Hillary and her henchmen is what he needs to do. Well, that and return fire as appropriate without blowing his top.
Debates are worthless.
Democrats are just rigging it for Hillary.
It’s not even worth going.
Dumb, Clinton could just show up and ask if he’s suspending his campaign...McCain all over again.
“Anderson and Martha, will you let Secretary Clinton stand on her own, or will you be a chair and pillow for her?”
Interesting. What's your source? I ask because Wikipedia says:
As Attorney General he basically dismantled the 5 Mafia crime families in New York. So he shouldn't have too much trouble taking on the Clinton Crime Family.

Nope. Trump needs to reengage in the next two debates, and prep more intensively. The debate last night, though not a bad showing for him, was a learning experience and he’ll draw from it. With more prepping, he’ll be more polished next time.
“Guiliani is 100% correct. “
Yes.
And who exactly has required all debates to be run by Democrat stooges in the media?

Via Heat Street,
At last nights debate, Donald Trump faced off not just against Hillary Clinton, but against moderator Lester Holt.
The game of two-on-one saw Holt ask no questions about:
Hillarys emails
Benghazi
The Clinton Foundation
While ignoring these issues, Holt grilled Trump on stop-and-frisk, the birther story, his comments about women, his many bankruptcies, why he hasnt released his tax returns and a host of other issues the media sees as unfriendly to the Republican candidate.
Holt also repeatedly attempted to fact check on some of Trumps positions, such as his claim to have opposed the Iraq War from the beginning. Holt interrupted Trump several times to interject, but rarely succeeded (and may have come across as weak and impotent).
Goodness! I thought she had passed away some time ago. ;)
