Majority Of Snap Polls Show Trump Won Debate By A Landslide

Trump and Clinton tangled over the economy, her use of a private mail server and his unwillingness to release his income tax returns on Monday night.

They engaged in a vigorous back-and-forth on the debate stage at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, as polls showed them locked in a tight race.

However, after the debate's end, polls conducted by a number of media websites showed their readers felt the real estate mogul came out on top.

Trump acknowledged the result, tweeting: 'Wow, did great in the debate polls (except for @CNN - which I don't watch). Thank you!'

I thought he was defensive and off his game for some reason.

Surprised these snap polls/focus groups are so positive for Trump.

At a minimum he held her off till next time, no major damage done.

I think you have a point. Trump could have brought up a number of things like sanctuary cities or the Clinton Foundation. Why he didn’t I’m not sure. However, Hillary came across as a sleazy politician, promising everything and delivering nothing. And Trump pointed that out many times. I think Trump may have really won this debate though his performance was poor, simply because he did not come across as a typical politician.

The dims do their share too. Its safe to assume that the snap polls were seeing the most passionate responders on both sides.

By not doing so, Trump didn't appear as the scary guy that the lamestream media and the Clinton campaign (yes, I repeated myself) portrayed him to be.

So, while Clinton may have won the debate on points -- Trump likely won the debate on votes.

Trump is better when off his game that Hillary is on her best night. His delivery was terrible at times, but the content was solid.

I think most on FR have seen videos of him at his best, and are disappointed that he didn’t perform at that level last night.

Are you serious? I guess you want Hillary’s executive Amnesty, open borders, taking away guns, giving the Internet to the Muslim controlled UN, more Muslim immigrants , and socialism that Hillary will cause.

This is how Hillary plans to turn the USA into Venezuela. Cruz , Jeb and other never Trumpers and democrats willingly electing Hilary is America committing suicide:

Hillary promised executive amnesty to 40 million illegals
in first 100 days. This proves Hillary is 1 million times worse than Obama.

And Hillary plans to dissolve the U.S. border first 100 days:

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/05/25/clinton-releases-plan-dissolve-us-border-within-100-days/

A very low percentage of Americans understand what the FED is doing , how NAFTA and regulations sent U.S. companies to other countries and what China is doing with currency devaluation. These are just a few points Trump touched on last night .

But Trump knows many more and much more. Trump knows more about how the world works than anyone. He’s the only one that can dig America out of this hole.

Again I’ve learned more from Trump’s debate than from decades of government schools, gov funded colleges and mainstream media brainwashing called “news” . These institutions are controlled by communists/democrats and they brainwashed most Americans including me for a long time until I became aware of what the media was doing

Thanks God your opinion is in the minority. Almost all polls give Trump the win. What people think is all that matters. I also look forward to seeing Hillary go down in November.

This just in….Hillary was replaced with a robot at the debate, and no one caught on until they realized that the robot looked like she was 45 years old.

Hillary look typical boring politician you can’t trust.

Trump was real, honest. This is what people are looking for.

Precisely on the point. Debate team coaches may score the hildabeast as a winner in debate form but she comes across as synthetic and a typical politician.

Her points were almost all about how she wanted to spend other people's money.

Trumps style was clumsy in form but had more substance about what needs to be fixed from a businessman's point of view.

1.Explain Trump’s statement last nite, you Hillary support how the Fed holding interest rates near zero will cause the stock market to crash when they raise them . The Federal Reserve have been holding interest rates near zero which is what is propping up the stock market for Obama.

2.Trump talked about china ‘s currency devaluation.

I’m sure you will look like a deer in the headlights just as your candidate Hillary did last night. Go ahead explain these right now. 99% of people have no clue. Trump does know more about this than anyone who else has mentioned it ? China devaluation or the political FED

"So many people say he's a great debater ..."

I've never seen or read that. Trump is a much better negotiator and communicator than debater. Reagan was all three, but Reagan had years of practice. But Trump connects with people (well, anyone to the right of wacko leftists) far better than Hillary ever will. It was the case during the GOP primaries when so many wrote Trump off after the debates.

The Big Don did fine. he was clearly over-coached to be “nice” and not look like a bully. What a sad time we live in.

He could have really nailed her on a few points...

-When she was hitting him on his business dealings, all he has to do is look at her derisively and sneer “Who the hell are you” How many jobs have you ever created?! I employ thousands of ppl all over the world... Every dollar you have is due to being in govt etc...”

- On the “Stamina” issue....She bragged about testifying about Benghazi for 11 hrs, as a sign of her stamina “well, bitch, if you didn’t lie and let those Americans get murdered in Benghazi, you wouldn’t have had to demonstrate such brave stamina for 11 hours to cover up your lies”

Also, the next time she brings up the women/insults issue, he needs to drop the Bill-peen hammer on her. Screw being polite.

Who cares about your circle. The overall picture is what counts. Most of the country thinks Trump won. I don’t care if he belched the National Anthem or farted to the tune of Volare, people thinking and believing that he won is all that matters.

I don’t think Trump really considered it as a “Debate” but more like winning a deal. She played all her best cards and has nothing left for the next two rounds. Trump still has a full hand of “Trumps” and will use them very effectively against her empty hand. Just watch and learn!
