How Trump won over a bar full of undecideds and Democrats
NY Post ^

Posted on 09/27/2016 7:05:54 AM PDT by TigerClaws

YOUNGSTOWN, Pa. — Ken Reed sat down at the main bar of the Tin Lizzy tavern with two things in mind: to dig into the tavern’s oversize cheese steak, and watch the presidential debate.

“I am hungry and undecided, in that order,” he said, digging into the savory dish in a bar that dates back to 1746.

This isn't a college debate where points are scored.

Hillary had that Joker-esque crazy smile on her face and was annoying. The more voters see of her, the less they like her.

First time I’ve seen any pundit offer York County (PA) as a county that “must” be turned from D to R. I think he’s just listing every county that went more than maybe 8% or so for Obama last time.

But FWIW I don’t see York County going R even this time. That’s the biggest county for crimes in the area, and that includes Harrisburg. The evening news more often than not leads with a crime in York County, and more often than not that crime is murder by handgun.

Thats right. The MSM hacks made a big mistake of showing her with that witch smile after each talking point.

NBC screwed the pooch. They made her look pretty assinine. Which she is.

Trump did not win that debate, she lost it. But then again, how could he win it when the moderator would not let him speak and constantly interrupted him every time he wanted to talk? Yet they let the witch talk on and on and on and on with her talking points.

If you had followed the established drinking rules on the live thread, you would have been hammered after the first twenty minutes.

Hillary WAS drunk, and wasn’t any more interesting. I guess they figure sedation is the antidote to the screechy voice.

Trump showed great passion on the Nafta issue, while Hillary just smiled and kind of dismissed it. “Let them eat cake.”

BTW kudos to Dr. Lisa Bardack on getting Hillary through the debate. Just one caveat — the drug cocktail was too heavy on the happy pills. All that goofy smiling.

Reed said Clinton came across as either smug or as though she was reading her résumé, adding there was nothing on her résumé that touched on his life. “I am a small businessman, a farmer, come from a long line of farmers and coal miners. The policies she talked about tonight ultimately either hurt me or ignore me,” he said.

She just spewed the usual crap that politicians say they are going to do when elected.

She did look like a strange robotic creature - who made me want to throw up. The more I watched the more I can't stand her.....

Great article, but didn’t start out well, from the premise:
1. Steak in 1746? I don’t think we had cattle.
2. Undecideds? I don’t believe there really are any, at least, those who watch the debates.

Not a surprise. Most of us know that Hillary spews facts and data and talks to the wonks. Trump talks to the working man.

It’s really that simple. Everyone I know, with the exception of the true diehard liberals who will vote for Hillary even if she was dead, say the same things Trump says. Only most of them use more colorful language, which he has been careful not to do.

Hillary comes across as everyones bitchy aunt, know-it-all sister-in-law, or ex-wife.

I just looked at 2008/2012 PA election maps and York county went red both times.

During the primary, I loathed Trump. I absolutely hate watching him in a debate. I voted Cruz, although Cruz wasn’t my first choice. Nobody I really liked broke 1% though...

But since he won the nomination, I’ve supported him fully. Why? Because it is Hillary or Trump, and Hillary may be the most repulsive person to ever run for President. She is evil, vicious, and extremely liberal - the latter often leading to the first two.

So I’m voting Trump. Full bore.

And I suspect a lot of folks watching last night were underwhelmed by Trump, who did NOT do as well as I expected him to do. But it doesn’t matter. It reminded everyone what the choice is - and it reminded everyone why they loathe Hillary.

Her reply on race, for example, was that every non-black secretly hates blacks and cannot help doing so, and that is why blacks cannot get ahead in America. I don’t know of a single non-black who believes that! The whites don’t. The Mexican-Americans don’t. The Orientals don’t. The Filipinos don’t.

Add in her creepiness, her status as America’s first ex, and I don’t see how she can win any debate. Canned answers and platitudes cannot cover up what she really is, and anyone watching noticed there are only two choices - regardless of that the National Review Weenies want to think.

So...Trump. All the way.

You hate her less than I do.I actively hope and pray she dies when hearing that Chelsea has been indited for racketeering and that Bill has been accused of raping Huma. I want her top suffer and be tormented like nobody has suffered since the Spanish Inquisition.

Hillary comes across as everyones bitchy aunt, know-it-all sister-in-law, or ex-wife.

And comes across as not caring about the people she claims to want to help. She only gets emotional about herself ("Why aren't I ahead 50 points?!").
