Listen to the difference. Hillary is right up against her mic but the sound is perfect. But listen when Trump speaks.

His mic is certainly turned up louder.

I watched for five minutes. Couldn’t take any more. Wife did the same.
The whole question of jobs is answered simply: “She wants government to handle the economy; I want the people to handle it. You make the choice - who knows how to spend your money, you or the government.”
Notice how much larger she looks. Trump’s head is the size of a man’s. Hers is larger.
His mic is too low. He bends down. Hers is even with her mouth.
He has got to slow down and become less hostile. He is coming across as bossy and argumentative. She has been prepped and advised that she has to come across as “likeable” and is doing a better job of that than he is right now. I am in his corner but his defensiveness is hurting his credibility.
Well, actually, that’s a quirk with Donald. It’s apparent in his own rally’s as well.
He’s a passionate guy. He gets worked up and breathes through the nose when he’s talking.

Hearing Trump breathe was very noticeable at the beginning. It stopped after a bit.
That being said, I would suggest it was intentional to set Trump’s microphone to pick up his breathing at the beginning and that is what people will remember.

I disagree. He’s actually the ONLY candidate who’ll stand up to her. Imagine Yeb Bush up there. Trump is taking it to her, just like a strong businessman should.

The mic that picked up the breathing noise appears to have been turned at minute 30 into the debate.
I am detecting a audio quality difference between the two as well. There is more reverb from Hillary’s mic giving her a god like sound. Subdue Trumps to the point he must yell to be heard.
