The Bush Betrayal
American Thinker ^ | Sept. 26, 2016 | Jared E. Peterson

Rumor out of Texas has it that the elder Bush will vote for Hillary Clinton. No word of denial issues from Pater, Dubya or Jeb.

Thus, the fair minded conclude that this spectacularly unsuccessful one term President is not content with the mere achievement of failure in office -- scattering the Reagan coalition and handing the country to Bill Clinton in 1992 was a feat of political incompetence that at the time seemed beyond human capacity -- the old man now essays to add betrayal of his voter base to his sorry resume.

He only did that because he wants a future in politics in Texas.
I hope the people of Texas are smarter than that.

Cartel is exactly the right word.

The reason why it is so important to go after the Clinton Foundation once Trump is elected is that they are simply one in a very long line of dominoes.

The Bush’s are criminals and Globalist traitors who I hope to see jailed under Trump

I agree 100%, that said there was a time when the Bush's had everyone here hoodwinked, and such talk would earn you a ZOT.

I just hope it's not too late for this country, I just hope.

Bush 41 wants to compete with Peanut Boy on being the worst former POTUS.

I'd be careful about suggestions of rioting around the Bush compound. They are under Secret Service protection.

I'm plenty ticked off at the Bushes, just suggesting you avoid suggesting violent protests.

George Bush was in Kansas City speaking at a investment group forum and when asked the question who he was going to vote for it was clear that he was disappointed it was not going to be Jeb but didn’t say who. He stated that he was going to not get involved with swaying anybody

He did say that 1% GDP was not very good for America and that the next President needed to focus on cutting Gov jobs, and focusing on the private sector as that is where America’s growth comes from. He further stated that tax rates needed to come down and that all tax rates were too high. He said that rebuilding the Military is important and to make sure that we could defend our life and liberty. He said that we were not treating veterans correctly and that they should come first in America.
He mentioned that we should have strong domestic oil production. So based on his comments it was clear that he was voting for Donald Trump.

He also stated that one do the thing he was most proud of during his administration was that he NEVER LIED, CHEATED OR STOLE anything from the American people. I think that was a slam of Obama and Hillary

Bush said his Dad was now wheelchair bound so perhaps he is not thinking very clearly any more.

My son knows Jeb’s son who is named George. He is voting for Trump. When asked about his Dad or Grandpa opinion’s it was his to make.

So you just never know.

The Bush family is certainly not doing George P any favors. One would think that they would consider the impact on him before they run off and support the Hildabeast. I mean, she could still be damaged by even more email revelations at the very least. Why risk your grandson’s future for her?

The Bushes are actually making his future political ambitions more challenging, especially at the national level. The Bush name is mud now.

Not nearly as bad as Clintons. Never forget, Bush I was a ww2 hero. Clinton was a draft dodger.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they voted for Carter, Dukakis, Slick, Gore, Kerry & Obama(twice) as well. There’s no one more despicable than traitors...

I lost a lot of respect for him when he violated his “no new taxes” pledge.

I lost more when he let Saddam Hussein murder tens of thousands of Kurds who were revolting against his rule AT THE URGING OF BUSH’S ADMINISTRATION.

I lost most of the rest when he acted like a few lobbyists from Israel were villified by him as if they were besieging him when a few went to Capitol Hill to lobby for loan guarantees to house a million refugees from the former USSR (which they eventually got, and which we never had to expend a penny to repay for Israel).

But THIS is the last straw. I have lost ALL respect for that man. He may act like a classy person, like a gentleman, but he is a backstabbing prick who actually doesn’t give a damn about his country, no matter what he actually may say..

My first presidential election was in 1988 and I voted Bush thinking how this would be the 3rd Reagan term.

In 1980, I thought RWR selecting GHWB for VP was a horrible mistake.

In 1984, I didn't thing about GHWB very much.

In 1988, I thought that certainly Bush must have learned something from Reagan, and would carry on Reagan' policies.

In 1992, I thought RWR selecting GHWB for VP was a horrible mistake.
