W was very unpopular at the end of his second term. Jeb went nowhere in the primaries. This probably won't make things any worse for George P, especially since George H W will be long gone by the time his grandson is in a position to run nationally (if that ever happens).

This election season has been incredibly revealing as to why our side has lost so much for so long.
It turns out our "leadership" never had any damn intention of advancing our cause or fighting back against the relentless advance of leftism.
We can thank Trump for revealing this. What he did wasn't all that difficult or miraculous.
All he did was FIGHT BACK.
Thus, the fair minded conclude that this spectacularly unsuccessful one term President is not content with the mere achievement of failure in office

I remember after Desert Storm, in mid 1991, Bush's approval numbers were over NINETY PERCENT.
In one year he squandered it all and lost to an unknown governor from a small rural state.
In retrospect, it's stunning that the Bush family is as powerful as they are. Their public persona is one of submissive incompetence.
But there are theories that it's all an act. That they're some of the most cunning and vicious people you'll ever meet and everything they do is by design.
Whatever the case, we can thank Trump for (hopefully) vanquishing these turds.

Yes, it has. I’ve thought since probably 2006 that the eGOP was no more for us than the devil himself. They hated Reagan and they anointed W.
To be honest with you I wasn’t sure I should say anything. It’s as though he said it to me in confidence but I honestly don’t think he wants me to about talking about our discussion. He was pretty pissed at me when I told him I would never vote for Jeb.
