They'll strenuously deny it, I'm sure -- and it does seem a bit far-fetched that a deeply-funded campaign would abandon 18 precious electoral votes in a state in which their candidate is within the margin of error. Then again, Trump has led in five of the last six statewide polls in Buckeyeland -- and actions speak louder than words. National Democrats are pulling up stakes in Ohio's Senate race, and now CNN notes that the state has been conspicuously absent on Hillary's travel schedule lately. "So long Ohio?" Hmmm:
Its been 20 days since Hillary Clinton stepped foot into this classic battleground state, and shes not expected to visit it again in the month of September...That is a nod to the political reality theyre facing, her campaign. She is struggling mightily among white voters.
At the very least, the Clinton camp has decided that her time ought to be concentrated elsewhere -- a seemingly significant concession from an operation that not terribly long ago was whispering to reporters about the many paths to a "commanding" victory they enjoyed. As for the "political reality" they're now grappling with among white voters, the final Washington Post/ABC News survey prior to the opening presidential debate shows a dead heat race. The 'tightening vs. expanding race' see-saw hinges back in the anti-Hillary direction with this result, which represents a three-point shift against Mrs. Clinton since the last installment of this series, and a six-point swing since early August. Keep in mind that these numbers closely reflect new national polling from Bloomberg and Quinnipiac. This race is officially a jump ball:
Latest speculation is that she has a “cooling vest” under her coat to keep her core temp down. These are used for MS patients to prevent seizures.. (on 9/11 she overheated?)
Tonight is 90 minutes under hot studio lights... we’ll see...
The witch had a four minute coughing fit the last time she visited Cleveland.
This was OBVIOUS from the day Trump was the nominee.. The firewall of the rust belt was going to collapse and collapse big and R would penetrate into the north east as well...
Hillary never had a chance at this.. once the Republican’s settled on Trump, this race was effectively over... The left thought that too, but they thought it meant Hillary would cake walk... Because, well, they live in bizarro land where left is right and up is down.
This race ended the day Trump was officially the nominee. The only one who could or can take out Trump is Trump. Hillary never stood a chance. Now Trump did stumble in late July and early August with the Kuhn family nonsense.. thus stalling his momentum for a few weeks, which the pundits incorrectly read as Hillary building, but he quickly recovered, regained the momentum he’s had since last year, and is on pace for a blowout, which was what this was always going to be.
Hillary could somehow depress Trump’s support, you get a squeaker election where she might be able to take her low 40s support and win.. otherwise Trump runs away with it.
Tonight is really the last shot, and as long as Trump comes out looking reasonable, he’s marching to a massive win.
Think I oughta go to Vegas and place a bet, or several bets, on Trump to prevail in NY?
That ruling covered only the requirement to reregister after missing so many elections (2 I think, so 6 years).
I haven’t re-registered since returning to Ohio from a military career. I vote every election, so it isn’t necessary.
Those who don’t vote, they want to be sure they still live in the voting precinct. It’s been policy for as long as I remember in Ohio.
The court is wrong, and the state should appeal to the full circuit court and to the scotus if necessary.
But, Kasich has turned his brain off since he got his feelers hurt by Trump.
Like with the “bomb” narrative, the “kahn” narrative was media created and media driven. Trump’s team really needs to learn to turn the corner faster when the media attempts to play these games.
1. Don’t feed the troll
2. Don’t feed the troll
3. Do something constructive
Healthy people only cough for 2 minutes in Cleveland.
I suspect some people were afraid to go on the record as Trump supporters, they told news people they were just supporting his 1st amendment rights. Some folks even said "I haven't decided yet..."
Lets just make sure all those voters that can't stand Clinton get out to vote in November for Trump.
No, the Kahn stuff was indeed self inflicted... Lets not lie to ourselves... nearly 2 weeks after and Trump was still talking about it.. Yes, the press pounded it on, but don’t think for one minute Trump didn’t step it in on that issue. He is a political neophyte he was going to make mistakes and that was one of them.. Fortunately his campaign recognized it, brought it new blood, and turned the corner and did it early enough that it wasn’t going to prevent him from winning.
The bomb thing was a non issue, that was the press being the press, and frankly no one who mattered cared... it just reinforced and Helped Trump, even though the Press tried to make it a story, the only ones biting were folks who were going to vote HIllary anyway.
Ditto That. lol
Trump has shrunk to 6-0 now seeing him next to measured athletes. Even celebheights has him at 6-0
She'll send her body double.
Not as tall as Tippy Toes!
I saw it differently. I never once saw Trump attack their son, did you?
Sigh... the engagement of the Kahn family was a stupid move... Was their spin? Sure, but the fact Trump not only engaged this, but kept bickering about it for 2 weeks, was big mistake for him. Argue about the trees, when I am talking about the forest.
It was the part about the son that the media pushed, and that’s why it was a media narrative. And the rule “don’t feed the troll” applies.
Probably not on NY.
Don't be so sure of that.
If signs are any indication, I have seen exactly one Hillary sign and four Trump signs. People are keeping their cards close to their vests in this one.
