When I was a young teen, Ralph Waite, the father on the Waltons and also a pastor gave a talk at a nearby church about the dangers of letting your children work in Hollywood. That was over 40 years ago.
As long it’s not “rape” rape it’s OK. Heck, you’d even win big awards.
I am not a slob, but to perform the sort of facial voodoo that these guys must do regularly,,,, only females do that AFAIK.
This is backed up by their effeminate behavior...........although they do seem coached to be macho on film at least.
She will be lucky if she’s allowed to fully advertise her film. I suspect some theatre groups will be under pressure to limit showings. This is probably what happened to another non pc movie called “Weiner”. Most people never knew it was showing.
Many years ago I had a very good teacher who had been a child actor. Without going into details he would hint darkly that as an attractive child he had been very much an ideal target for certain types of individuals who were quite common in his profession.
There's a scene in The Godfather — the book, not the movie — in which child abuse and pedophilia in Hollywood is ascribed to a character.
It's a side of Jack Woltz that's not shown in the movie.
The book was published in 1969, and was the first place I ever encountered the subject, when I read it as a teenager in the early '70s.
I agree with your observation that there is a subset of gay men with facial features that are “a little too perfect”. Some use their looks to become actors. But I don’t think these people are doing anything to make themselves that way (makeup, etc.). Why is someone who looks like this so often gay and vice versa? It’s a strange mystery.
In “The Godfather Trilogy”, they did show a brief scene of Jack Woltz’s (John Marley) girlfriend that he kept at his mansion, who looked to be perhaps anywhere from 10-14, that Tom Hagen spotted.

The little girl Tom Hagen sees as he makes a hasty departure from Woltz’s mansion, her make-up smudged and her hair and clothes disheveled, was most likely a composite of many very young girls used by these people . . . with the permission of their parents. Most are probably unknowns. A few are household names.

Speaking as a fan of Rock Hudson/Doris Day movies.......his homosexuality was cleverly concealed by the Hollyood money-makers.
The story then was Rock was in an adult relationship w/ a man.
However, upon his death, film clips of Rock’s swimming pool were am eerie revelation....surrounding the pool were statues of young boys.
Let’s not forget Howard Hughes. I admire the man for a lot of things, but he ran through a legion of young women in the 1930’s. (He also ran over and killed a man on the streets of Hollywood while drunk driving.) He is so accomplished many forget he was very successful in show biz as a younger man.
Very beautiful young boys and young men are targeted by older gays. Old gays will tell these males that they ARE gay, they just don’t know it yet. It happened to a friend of mine who is a stage designer here in NYC. It happened to my brother when he was about 20. That’s show business.
That is just sick. I hope that his parents were protecting him.
Just finished watching the documentary. Chilling to think the sex offenders are still working, some with children. That Marty Weiss, I understand from the closing is working to LIGHTEN PEDOPHILIA LAWS!!! This movement is growing, and I’ve always said now that gay marriage is being normalized, the next taboo or perversion to be normalized will be either pedophilia or beastiality.

There’s a link between narcissism and homosexuality. Obviously, very attractive people are more prone to narcissism.
