Monday night, all three broadcast networks hid the Muslim connection until their second story on the attacks.
NBC was typical. It went through one entire report on the arrest before it even mentioned Rahami’s faith. NBC anchor Lester Holt set the stage just as the other networks did, calling Rahami, “a naturalized U.S. citizen from Afghanistan.” They said nothing about his faith.
Chief Foreign Correspondent Richard Engel slipped in the key detail in the second report. He talked about the family’s lawsuit against police over their restaurant. “'Muslims make too much trouble in this country,' they claimed a neighbor said.” Naturally, Engel pointed to that as a possible motive. “But was it a dispute over the family business that enraged Ahmad or something else?” he asked.
ABC and CBS employed the same strategy, telling viewers nothing about the suspect’s faith until the second segment about the attack. ABC anchor David Muir explained, “The family owning a fried chicken restaurant, claiming they were discriminated against because they are Muslim.”
CBS’s Michelle Miller operated from the identical playbook. “The Rahamis allegedly refused and filed a lawsuit against the mayor and 20 police officers, saying they were being targeted because they were Muslim,” she said.
The stabbing attack was blatant in Minnesota. According to NBC’s Blake Falconer, Adan was “said to have referenced Allah, as he began stabbing eight men, one woman, and a 15-year-old girl.”

By their silence they announced it. Come on now, if they were Christians or Jews it would be their lead sentence.
They’re saying he was “radicalized” during a trip to Afghanistan. Never used the
I-word or the M-word.
Yeah, but they didn’t instantly start trying to find a connection to a Conservative or Republican, and then take some tenuous or misinterpreted evidence and go national with it, as they have done so many times in the past.
That’s progress, of a sort.

Except when the adherents emulate their prophet and follow his instructions in their book.
The “radicalized” are the devout ones.

A lot of media and people in general are “afraid” to speak out ...even if they think other than the media flow to place nice with the Islamic Muslims.
It’s no secret the liberal minds of this country have no backbones....like kids in a sandbox they think if they’re nice to everyone nobody will throw sand at them....then when it happens they whine and run away instead of standing up to the bully.
They will all become “radicalized” if they begin to actually practice what the Koran teaches and go deeper into it....the ‘trigger’ has already been set from a lifetime of living the life of Islam....coming here doesn’t erase that indoctrination.
When they do not release the description or country of terror assults, you just know it is middle eastern islamist terrorist.
Just imagine the difference if a TEA party supporter committed a crime.
Hard to hide what everyone already knows.
