And he’s demonstrating that it isn’t necessary if the candidate is willing to talk to the news people.
There is not a show a watch that does not have a 30 sec hitlery blurb on every night. The ad they seem to run the most is the one with noted GOPe asses saying Trump should not be president.
Considering those are the folks we ignored at the primary polls, my anger against them is doing the same thing this time around in their new role as Clinton surrogates....I do the opposite of what these establishment, chamber of commerce owned traitors suggest.
Absolutely right. Given the large dislike of both candidates, it will come down to emotion. Trump's failure to buy ad time will give it to Hillary.
“I think TV ad spending isnt all its cracked up to be. How many people do you convert or save the 100th time you run the same ad on the same channel in the same daily newscast. Or when you run the 10th new ad.”
Indeed. If I was advising on political TV advertising, I’d advise money be spent on good production values, making ads that entertain and amaze, and that no ad be run more than twice in a given TV market to generate water-cooler buzz (”Did you SEE that?), impelling people wbho missed the ads to search the ads out on youtube.
Example ad: Mimic the smokey, futuristic interrogation Voight-Kampff Test scene from Blade runner, only Hillary would be the test subject, and the questions could relate to her email, health, and benghazi lies.

He reaches at least 10x more potential voters via ads, and reaches out to voters who otherwise may not know his policies. Rallies preach to the choir.
I totally agree, although maybe conversely we should all consider that the Trump campaigns lack of spending is a sign of its confidence, with reports they are investing in ground game now. instead.
Clinton conversely is spending like the mad women we know she is, including in some normally secure Democratic states.
He threatens their revenue stream. :)
He could open another hotel and promise to make a statement on the media ambush of the moment. That guarantees at least an hour of free TV time. Or somebody could tell Hillary’s team that the Tro-Lo-Lo guy is a cryptofascist...
She’s using the Jeb Bush theory: if you’re message is lame and you come off like a moron, you can still win if you pump enough money into your campaign.
Whoops, Hillary didn’t think of that. She believed her minions that told her we’re glued to our AM radios 24/7.
He definitely needs to run ads in this area!

Hillary isn’t going to take Texas and you know it. Why spend a lot of money there
when maybe it can be used in a state that could be won with some help. Texas is going
Trump, California is going Hillary so why waste money by either campaign?
