I got the same alarm alert on my iPhone this morning...thought it was for the rain or flooding. Then saw this guy’s name and thought it was a missing child.

Two work in mid town (lawyers) and one works at a restaurant in the 20’s and South Park not far from where the bomb went off Saturday night although she was not at work at the time.

When there’s an explosion that kills people at a gathering, one might think natural gas line, wrecked car gas tank, food vendor propane...am I forgetting any?
Those are pretty easily dispensed with and would be reported in seconds.
Otherwise, an explosion is not a firecracker, it is a bomb. A bomb went off would be a common way of describing it.
I’m also betting that Trump is very well connected in the NY Police department. He’s lived there and spent there his entire life. He was just endorsed by the FOP. Guiliani is probably connected as former mayor in ways that we cannot imagine.
They knew in seconds that it wasn’t a gas line, a propane tank, or a wrecked car.

I have family (daughter and son in law, both lawyers) traveling by train from Brooklyn where they live to mid town to their offices this a.m. and I wonder if they had a similar experience. I have not contacted them at this point but might soon as I am getting nervous at this point.
