Somali father IDs son as Minnesota mall attacker

The father of the man who stabbed nine people at a central Minnesota mall has identified him as a 22-year-old college student.

Ahmed Adan told the Star Tribune of Minneapolis that police told him Saturday night that his son, Dahir A. Adan, died at Crossroads Center mall in St. Cloud.

He says police didn't mention the attack on the mall, but they seized photos and other materials from the family's apartmen

Way back in 2003...in fact, almost exactly 13 years ago...I was in WI for another family gathering. One aunt is from MN and her wonderful (old scandanavian blonde) mother was still living there at the time. Told me disapprovingly of all the do-gooder churches bringing over Moslem Somalians. She had some anecdotes of her own about their welfare-like behavior.

Muslims can’t be “vetted” period. They may talk a good game because they know what we want to hear, or in this case the kids come at a very young age and wouldn’t be screened out under any vetting procedure (except one of TOTAL EXCLUSION). OR, even if they start out more “peaceful” in orientation, some % of them will turn to jihad.

So, as I understand this, "Slander" means to knowingly spread a FALSEHOOD or with the intent to mislead or lie; to cast an insult upon another person, correct?

So, if I said that to the best of my knowledge, Mohammed was a pedophile, lying psychopath who created a cult and a made-up story he called "Islam", providing absolutely NO MIRACLES to show his stories to be true, that he murdered, raped men, women and children for pleasure, that he made his living by robbing innocent people - that is not slander. For every word is true.

Further, if I were to say that his followers have shown themselves to be mentally inferior, culturally inferior and both psychotic and sadistic animals - not only by their words, but this is futher illustrated by their deeds in how they eagerly rape young boys, molest women, torture and exploit those who are under their control, and that the "Charity" that they are allegedly commanded to give is a complete sham. That too, is demonstrably true.

Islam is no more a religion, than it is a mental disease that is spread to those gullible enough to believe in flying horses, and eager enough to abuse and torture those weaker than them, and seek a rationale to justify their guilt in abusing their fellow man.

I moved to MN without knowing anything about the state. Took a job and lived there for too long.

Normal would not be my first choice of adjective for Minnesotans, unless you are comparing them to Californians. Words take on a whole new meaning in Minnesota: “Minnesota Nice” ain’t nice, conservative means Norm Coleman, and fun means ice fishing.

Normal people only associate fun with ice when it’s in their drinks!

It must have been 20 years or so ago, my Dad passed away and I flew back to Minnesota for the funeral. I grabbed a cab for a ride. The driver was Somali, had been in Minnesota for a few years and had a large family still back in Somalia. This is the early 90s. Minnesota was already knee deep in bringing in refugees from ‘distressed’ nations.. to say they assimilate well if encouraged to do so is not quite accurate as recent events and convictions demonstrate. jmho
