At least one of those Social Justice Warriors (SJWs) crossed the line of acceptable social interaction. He intentionally, and without provocation, tried to physically intimidate the professor. Aside from the general nonsense he spewed, there was this gem “[because you are who you are] you can never experience racism.” A useful reminder of the basis for the SJW movement; it’s not a movement about fairness with intellectual integrity but rather a political interest group vying for resources.

I seriously doubt 90% of them would be in Yale if not for their skin color or ethnicity. They all came across as a bunch of PC idiots with no clue of the real world.
They’ve shown why they cannot be hired. That’s why so many end up working in government.
It wasn’t about specific costumes, I mean, this started months and months before Halloween. The students wanted the administrators to preemptively ban any costumes that any students subjectively might take offense to.
Of course there is no way to know what costume some student would take offense to until someone wore the costume and the student got offended, so the whole idea is completely unworkable. Not that such things matter to the special snowflakes.
