“Stop posting to me, panty-waste.”
The term is “panty waist.”
Liberal and stupid. Great combo.
Taking as read the “context” you refer to...
Wouldn’t it have been more accurate for PrairieLady2 to have written “A womans clothing isnt the issue. Some males propensity for committing evil and to prey on defenseless female victims is?
Rather than the snide “Male self discipline and self control IS.?
The light bulb will eventually turn on....
... Eventually.
You think a judge should ask a rape victim why she didn’t keep her legs together?
You think that “could yield much information about how physically violent the attacker was”?
What does that have to do with anything? Are you that moron on tv who thinks maybe it wasn’t really rape rape?
Knees together doesn’t help the slightest if you’re bent over.
Thank you for helping to prove my point by being emotional.
Any court case is a serious matter and should not be tried lib style by using emotions. The truth needs to be found.
There are numerous cases out there where a guy gets framed - close to 1 in 10. And there are cases where a guy will get off that is guilty. That’s why there should be no holds bared in the search for the truth.
I stated the question should have been asked differently in a less insensitive way. The idea is to find out what level of resistance the attacker had to overcome or what level of coercion was used. You’ve got to sway the jury (or judge) towards guilty if the guy is guilty.
What is supposed to happen, the alleged victim just go up on the stand and cry her eyes out with no questions asked at all, base the guilt solely on how severe the charges are (as libs do), and not go for the facts?
The incidence of false charges of rape can be as high 8%.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_accusation_of_rape
I’m sticking with asking tough questions in a tough situation, the truth needs to be ferreted out.
If a guy has sex with his wife, these sorts of “accusation opportunities” go way, way down.
He must not be familiar with a woman anatomy either.

And you say that because?
Can I have the popcorn concession?
Im gloriously male, and I do NOT approve of PrarieLady2s snide insinuation that all males are potential rapists. Her comment WAS insulting!
That kind of crap leads to what happened at UVa with the false rape charge, and the mattress girl who trotted all around Columbia for years, claiming rape after consensual relations.

+1
Because “keeping your legs together” will not prevent a rape.
How does asking a woman if she tried to keep her legs together get to any truth? That question is akin to asking her why she didn't urinate on herself or pick her nose to be unattractive to men. It has no relevance legally.
The emotions on this issue seem to be on your side.
Back to my original statement: “I can see the insensitivity of the question, nonetheless, IMO the answer to such a question, if differently worded, could yield much information about how physically violent the attacker - - “.
The key is “if differently worded”.
Differently worded such as: “What did you do to defend yourself?”
Now, how does such a question get to any truth?
If the alleged victim just sits there and cries and says nothing, or if such questions are never asked, the alleged perp may get off.
The method of force needs to be brought to light. If force or other means of coercion cannot be proven, a good defense lawyer can get the guy off. On the other hand, if the charge is false as with about 8%, then the defense attorney can justly get the defendant off.
I’m in favor of justice, not a lynching.
Betcha there are lots of rapists out there having you defend the victim.
Great question for when they put the *victim* on trial.
Because keeping your legs together will not prevent a rape.
Really?
According to a whole bunch of people here it will prevent pregnancy
Do you think that if the woman was sitting on the sink, her legs spread wide apart, and then the male came in, that that information might have bearing on the case?
OK
OK, let’s take a different sort of a case. Let’s say your home was robbed while you were out for a while and there is a trial of the accused, and you are on the stand.
Would it be putting you on trial if one of the lawyers asked you: “Did you have any type of home surveillance or other security measures such as double bolted doors and break-proof glass on the windows? (such glass exists, I’ve had it)
They don’t understand female anatomy either
Because keeping your legs together will not prevent a rape.

Of course. I don’t know why I questioned you. Half asleep I guess.
Their comments were unacceptable and unbecoming for Free Republic.
I have not seen such a pile-on toward a female FReeper like that, before.
Please do not think that the majority of men on here share their shallow, selfish, view.
