According to new reports, Greta Van Susteren did not leave her show on Fox News willingly but was abruptly forced out by CEO Murdoch.
Money.cnn.com reported: A sharp knock on the door signaled that Greta Van Susteren's time on Fox News Channel was over.
A courier arrived at Van Susteren's Washington, D.C. home at 9 a.m. Tuesday, hand-delivering two letters that said that Van Susteren "was being taken off the air" immediately, according to her husband, John Coale, who is a high-profile Washington lawyer.
Van Susteren was already planning to leave, but she thought she would be hosting her 7 p.m. program "On the Record" for a few more weeks.
It was also a message from Rupert Murdoch. Van Susteren has been one of the top anchors at Fox News for the past 14 years.
Murdoch, the patriarch of Fox's parent company 21st Century Fox, disliked her recent attempt to renegotiate her contract, and the unusual courier visit was a result of that, said one of the sources interviewed for this story.

They are working on pushing out all Trump media between now and the Election, where People who only get their info from TV will get nonstop Hillary the rest of the way in. Trying to take over all the Media that way no more Stories on Trump and all lifting up Hillary going to be a low information from now on.
The Clinton’s demonized the Scaife family who Ruddy worked for in the 1990’s, but the Scaife’s who are behind Newsmax and Ruddy ended up being Clinton Foundation contributors, too.

Same here. I pick and choose the news I want and the lame stream media whores are nothing that peaks my interest. Not sure why I even own a TV anymore except to watch a hockey game now and then.

You know... You should keep posting that kind of information. And maybe send it to the Trump campaign too. Trump and Pence could well use that sort of specific example (those Florida polls) to bolster their case and continue to discredit the media.
Did I say “discredit”? This media is so far from the Founders’ intent of having a free and independent media that “destroyed” would be a better word.
Unfortunately, many people just don’t have the time to go fact checking themselves. (I’m usually in that group, but I do try to come here some!) This is aside from a large group who are disinterested or just not inclined to want truth / facts. But some (some) of the latter will come around when shown enough indisputable information.
BTW, I’d add a couple points:
First is that from what I’ve seen, most local TV news in even moderate-to-conservative areas is no better. And don’t even talk to me about late night TV shows and such...
Given this sort of headwind, and so far, almost no ads for Trump on the air, I have to conclude that the situation “out there” (jobs for example) is in reality so bad that Trump’s “what the hell do you have to lose” argument, backed by some pretty solid policy proposals, is working, and not just with blacks.
