What if Lochte wasn’t an admitted ‘exaggerator?’ What if he wasn’t an elitist prat whose life’s goal is to ‘swim’ and make big bucks?
What if I don’t give a crap about him? Or if he’s already lost 4 big endorsement deals? The enorsers will find other elites to promote and make rich and Lochte can go on off and do whatever - nobody is gonna lose a job but him.
I was going to ask who he was, but I decided to read the article and find out.

I think you may have missed the point of this article. It was not “poor Ryan Lochte”; it was that the media is lazy at best, and a lying, scheming, devious, malicious, anything-for-a-story pack of coyotes.
Regardless of what you think of Lochte, the Matt Liar (Lauer) interview was a disgrace. It was the equivalent of watching someone pull the wings off of flies just for the hell of it. I saw a few minutes of it - an elderly relative had the stomach to watch the whole thing and was unusually vociferous in condemning Matt Liar/interview as disgusting.
Sickening! But what we’ve come to expect from thoroughly debauched, human and America-hating progressive ‘elites’ and their media mouthpieces.
What if Eleanor Roosevelt could fly?
The media doesn’t care about the facts; it only promotes the narrative.
Was Zimmerman guilty of anything other than defending himself? (Maybe he wasn’t a perfect human, but did he commit a crime?) Or was he a “white hispanic”?
Were the Bush documents “fake but accurate”?
If the Duke lacrosse players had been any other ethnicity, class, race or gender, would the media have pumped up a non-case for a year?
When the media goes for promoting political narratives over truth, then we have entered a Goebbels version
of the Twilight Zone.

It shows the evil that the Media has become.
I’ve gotten so into listening to the bible on my 3 hour daily commute that I rarely even listen to the news. And I Pull my news off the internet (no tv since 1997). If it’s Olympics related, I just don’t care. And I had heard about this story, very briefly, but had not attached any names to it.
My whole take on it is that you have to be careful when visiting 3rd world countries - and some small towns in the U.S.
Sadly, I’m not kidding about that last part. It’s one reason I carry in the car.
Sorry, not buying it. What if I don't understand what the point of the article really is.
You know, I get that. But I am also tired of hearing about this prat, frankly. He adds no value whatsoever to the national progression of this country in a positive way in my opinion. I’d much prefer he just goes on off and thinks about what he is and how he acts in future.

Though I was never really interested in this story, the story of how the media handled it IS very interesting and needs attention.
It’s kinda like the fact that I couldn’t care less about professional football, but was fascinated by deflategate.

Everybody has to be tough on Lochte, including his sponsors, otherwise they’ll be accused of white privilege.
He made his own bed...
Now let’s see of some of the sponsors that dropped Lochte will re-hire him.
