When you buy them, you have to be careful that you get them with the furthest possible expiration dates. Some sleazy distributors will sell them with three months left.
My rescue squad might use one every month or two. A significant cost for a volunteer organization that doesnt bill patients, and we have six pairs of adult/pedi Epis to equip all our vehicles.

Just stop buying Epipen...price will come down. Epipen spent 10’s of millions of dollars on ads so every parent with an allergic kid would want/need their product then jacked the price...sales went from $200 million/yr. to billions...don’t fall for it.

Without tort reform...more like $120.00...the link I posted has epinephrine injection pens for $144.62/2....let the free market work. Mylan doesn’t have a monopoly on this particular product.
