Where will they find someone qualified to give the pilot a 709 ride?

Given its size, methinks it will always be overly susceptable to air currents whilst taking off or landing.

The British batting average with hulled airships is almost as bad as the American record. If you want a decent airship, buy German.

The forward fans were not being used for lift? That thing needs more horsepower / control.

Doesn’t seem to have much of a payload compared with commercial air freighters. The main advantage seems to be long flight duration.

From the TV show “Archer”:

“I can’t believe you put me on a ship filled with hydrogen!”
“Archer, it’s not hydrogen, it’s helium.”

“It’s just as explosive, Lana! We’re all going to die!”
“No, Archer. Helium is harmless. We’re perfectly safe.”

“Oh, yeah? Tell that to the people on the Hindenburg!”
“That was hydrogen! This ship has helium. It’s safe!”

“They’re the same thing, Lana! It’s marketing! They changed the name, but It’s still the most explosive substance in the universe!”
“Grrrrrrr”
