Andrea Tantaros filed a lawsuit with the Supreme Court of the State of New York against Roger Ailes, Fox News, William Shine, Dianne Brandi, Irena Briganti and Suzanne Scott. In the complaint, she called Fox News a “sex-fueled Playboy Mansion-like cult.”

I’m inclined to believe her.
At what point does the victim, have an obligation to come forward for the good of other victims? To go six years without saying anything, means other women were potentially harassed, thanks to these ladies remaining silent until their gigs were up and they had nowhere to go but out.

The accusations ring true to me because Ailes’ assessments of his talent as quoted here are spot-on. Shannon Bream does have a weirdly annoying voice. It was always hard to listen to her fill in as host on a show for a full hour. Catherine Herridge as a stalker is a hilarious description given that intense stare in her eyes. Nobody could be perceptive enough to make such incisive remarks except Ailes, a real expert on casting TV talent.
They’re not named as defendants though. The legal action appears to be focused on the people who demoted her and punished her on the job for making the complaints at work. If she complained and they did absolutely nothing it might be a tougher case. But when they reduce her job responsibilities and assignments as a seeming result of her complaints, that’s where she starts to have a strong legal case. There’s a reason Fox was apparently willing to settle this for 7 figures at one point.
Saying “somebody would’ve seen it if it happened” is never a good defense. In a room with hundreds of people, there are so many distractions to look at that it probably is less likely he would be noticed than if there were only 5 people in the room.
If the woman you do this too thinks you’re attractive, it doesn’t get called harassment, it’s called dating. See Lewinsky.
They’ve called it the leg chair on Red Eye for years. And the comments Ailes made in private sound pretty much like what already gets said on the air on Red Eye.
