T.I. will join fellow musicians John Legend, Common, Public Enemy, Carlos Santana and more at the Many Rivers To Cross Music Festival Oct. 1, 2 just outside of Atlanta along with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, fellow multi-hyphenate Chris Rock, recent BET Awards highlight Jesse Williams and Empires Jussie Smollett.
Its also important for our listening audience right now to just realize that with this festival its time for black people to get pissed off about being taken for granted, said Cameron.
As the very public Donald Trump opponent, T.I., added: Of course I want to do something that will count for the progression of my people.

Oh, linky thing to Mr. Massie’s article from earlier:

If they were really pissed about being taken for granted, they would stop voting Democrat in one big bloc. As long as there is no chance that the black vote goes to anyone but the Democrat party, there is no reason not to taken them for granted.
This sounds like leftist black artists trying to get in front of the Trump narrative.
As might be expected, leftist artists of any race are not interested in regular people.
They’re interested in their source of income and in the propaganda they’ve bought into.
The NAACP,Sharpton and Jackson will not allow it. They would have to get real jobs then. Those folks are no different than the Never Trump and Democrat Leadership and NAACP. They milk the poor masses.
Even car-loss s-ant-ana. But then again he’s been a che lovin’ lib piece of crap for a long time. Nuthin’ says dumbass better than a tuxedo jacket with a che shirt under it. Guess none of these folks know enough to understand that che would have offed them the first chance he got.
“...its time for black people to get pissed off about being taken for granted...”
I’d agree. Get PO’d at the DNC, the war on poverty, BLM, J. Jackson, A. Sharpton, N.O.I., Hollywood, the media. Get PO’d at every damn one of them for USING YOU, SEEKING TO CONTROL YOU, AND ENSLAVING YOU.
I pray that this assembly can cobble together enough rational thought to understand that blaming others will not gain them 1 inch of traction towards a better life. That in fact, life is unfair. Outcomes are not guaranteed simply by showing up. HOWEVER, a culture that promotes faith, family, education, work ethic, etc. stands a far greater chance of success than those who do otherwise.
Trump may yet manage to get into their heads. He’s bluntly asked the obvious, like “what have you got to lose with the GOP”? Questions that their fantasy world won’t brook, but surely they have reasons to be disgruntled about where they are.
It’s showing up at God’s door that counts, far more than showing up at the world’s doors.
After doing the former, then God will direct as to which of the latter should occur.
Obama and the crew are worried that blacks are leaving the plantation. This onslaught is predictable. Whip out the celebrities (all rich as hell) to tell the poor blacks to keep voting democrat. Bread and circuses for all!!!
I guess you can’t say “cotton” candy anymore without someone thinking it’s a racis’ comment.
The silent element--even if still a minority--could be the key to a 30% Trump vote, where Romney only got 5%. And you would rescue millions now living in fear.
My little dream is that we could take African Americans for granted, like we do German Americans. But we can’t. For one thing, for a lot of them in politics and the media is all that they talk about. Black, black, black, black, blackity black black.
For another large segment their behavior makes them impossible to ignore. What other ethnic group burned down there cities in the last two years?
So the pretext of the event is ridiculous. Every day is MLK day in Obama’s America. We are never able to simply ignore the troubled minority among us.
Funny thing about this article. It’s about black people being taking advantage of by the system.
But rich leftist black artists are as guilty of this as politicians.
Yeah keep voting DUMBocrats Sucka’s:-)
Great point. For every riotous thug there are many thousands of decent folks right there in the same neighborhood.
Even better would be to be militia minded. There is mutual exclusivity between gang bang shenanigans and that.
Well, the riches music moguls are white as polar bears and they are profiting from this exploitation. Hideous.
riches=>richesT
