He said in Honduras if you wanted ANYTHING done it required a bribe - everyone from the Gov’t passport signer to a plumber.

I believe it. It seems that some conservatives admire the Italian model. Or at least that is my impression, having seen how eager they are to convict these US swimmers pretrial.

Oh yes. I’m gonna take the word of an ‘exhaustive’ sports journalist or whatever he calls himself - very much of it is here say. This is hardly a vindication of Lochte.
If anything these self serving post-trauma interviews and ad hoc investigations are nothing more than providing specificities to lies told on both sides. The thread yesterday or the day before at least had the decency to say “well, yes our guy exagggggggerated (lied), but Rio Police (unsourced, BTW) lied more.”
Not buying it.
