The media is working overtime covering for Obama/Hillary not being there. CBS this morning didn’t even want to say he was in Martha’s Vineyard, instead choosing the more broad workman like name of “New England” as if he’s pulling in netting from a Maine Fish boat.

From a personal perspective, one might think about why Donald Trumps seems so reserved and subdued during this 10 minutes. If you juxtapose that against Pence’s ease with interaction with comforting words and discourse, it might be easy to mistake what I personally think I see.
I see a man, yes a very rich man surveying the damage and the personal misery that befell these Americans who don’t seem to be benefiting from Obama’s government relief finally seeing what it means to be THE PRESIDENT. His words were (said more than once) You’ll rebuild and it will be better.
I frankly see a man from New York high rises humbled by what happens out here in drive by America, and I see some personal impact here..
I see a man that spent some time listening to the problems and not waiting to step to a dais with a teleprompter and a microphone before he jets back home to play a late evening of golf at Andrews AFB.
Personally, I wouldn’t be surprise to hear/see that in some way his visit to these people and others resulted in some personal contribution to their rebuilding occurred - all to the willing ignoral of the media about his actions.
There’s a manly swing for you. I’ve never seen such a limp wristed follow through.
Pence is more the politician, and you can see Trump looking around while talking. He is looking at the wall lines, the ceiling damage etc. He is a builder, that is for sure. Because a builder will do the very thing he is doing.
He went right into the home sand schools and assessed the damage and talked with owners. Obama/Clinton couldn’t give a flying f*^k about them.

Trump is also looking at the damage with a builder’s eye to determine in his own mind how it can be rebuilt.
