Saint Lucie County is my home county.
Registered voter mean little.
Here we have a supervisor of elections that is a life long Dem.
She personally threw the election of Colonel Allen West in the middle of the night.
Elections here are little more than a joke.
She went in to a room at 2 in the morning with West ahead by 2200. She came out with a personal recount and had Mccarthy ahead by 2000.
Mccarthy LIED about his resume and is soon gone.

Ok Hot,
here goes.
Colonel West was a congressman in South Florida. A Tea Party man.
The Florida Republican party didn’t want Tea Party anything so they Redistricted him out of a district.
He then ran for a district north of his original one.
He was ahead by 2200 votes at 2 in the morning when supervisor of elections here went in to a room to do a recount of write in’s and came out with McCarthy ahead by 2000.
There was NO challenge cause the Republican party didn’t want a Tea party member causing trouble.
Gertrude Walker is a lifelong militant democrat negro.
There you have it.

While GOP voters increased by a certain percentage, the Democrate numbers decreased.

Democrats decreased from 57.03% to 55.8%.

That's a net benefit to Republicans of (57.03-55.8) + (44.2-42.97) = 2.46% of the total vote. As a percentage of the initial Republican population, this would be equivalent of increasing the population of Republicans by 5%.

Another way of looking at it is to consider the impact if turnout of Republicans increased by 5%; that is, 5% more Republicans than prior turnout.

With the close elections we have been seeing, such an increase in turnout would be a game-changer. Again, the benefit will only be that great if the independent vote shows a similar shift.

IIRC, the Miami count was held until they knew the totals from the rest of the state.

Inner city Dem strongholds often turn their totals in late.

Sounds reasonable to me. That name Gertrude Walker rings a bell now. She put the "fix" in the results and West never challenged it.

Apparently Republicans have a history of shooting themselves in the foot when they have somebody challenge their incest with the democRATS and insist on changing their little private party.

The Trump campaign needs to get operatives out there to prevent this sh*t from happening again this go-around. Because you know the demoCRAPS are already cooking the books, especially in the swing states.

If you grow up in Fort Pierce you may know my husband or at least his family. What year were you graduated from HS? I’ve lived in the county since 1971. I remember GDC advertising PSL lots for $10.00 down, $10.00 a month.

Problem is most GOPers will do their best to sink Trump. Afraid he will rock the gravey train.

That's what I remember, more votes cast than registered voters. Obvious voter fraud.

But like my wife keeps telling me, unless someone in authority makes a case against this crap, it will never change.

The most recent example is the FBI and DOJ deciding that the corruption, crimes and jeopardizing of national security with "extreme carelessness" of handling emails by hilLIARy Clinton was more appropriately resolved by giving her a pass.

This is no longer a country based on the law. It is based strictly on politics. But I suppose that's the way it's always been. It's just that the case against Clinton brought the corruption and politics out in the open for everyone to see. The fix was in and no one has done anything about it.

Cynical? You betcha....
