WASHINGTON, Aug. 15 (UPI) -- The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll data released Monday shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by 3.5 percentage points.

As predicted, this poll is beginning to align with the USC Poll which has a similar methodology. UPI/CVoter does not include a choice of Johnson/Stein, just other, so the actual margin is probably a bit tighter than this. By mid-week this and the USC poll should be close to even.
This poll was +5 for the evil Witch on Friday, similar bump for Trump here. 1.5 in CVoter and 1.2 in USC.
The girls can come off the ledge for a while now.

Oh my God. This does not fit the gloom and doom narrative.
What will the media do. I assure you they are rigging this poll as far as possible for hillary but she had a horrible week and is now seen as an unindicted criminal who is a serial liar and these brain seizures following her six month recovery for a severe concussion where she could not focus and had to wear stereo vision glasses is sinking in . My God!! what if that “no name” kaine had to fake being president. He is a clown.
I agree that a 4-way race would show even better numbers for Trump!
Wonder if they ever poll rural America or if the sampling is always done in urban area.
One thing to consider when you look at these numbers is that Donald apparently has not spent a dime on TV advertising whereas Hillary has spent to the tune of about $52 million. And this poll reports these sorts of numbers, lol.
1) No D/R splits, M/F splits,
2) As pointed out, no other candidates mentioned, so this narrows it more.
If the split is now a +2-3 D and you include Johnson/Stein we’re back to at tie.

Fudge the *itch is still steady! The *itch from hell needs to slide off the cliff!! The more they keep the demon out of sight the better her numbers seams to stay in the good column ! But overall it seams Trumps numbers are climbing up fairly! It seems that the debates will be the main factors!!
The debates will be decisive. Hillary does not look good under scrutiny.
She has a reputation of being a good debater and she’ll meet her match.
Trump is still in it in spite of the pounding he’s taken and he’s cracked 45%. Earlier polls showed him in the high 30s.
The MSM keeps saying he is not talking policy while Trump is giving policy speeches.
Another thing these polls do is over state the effects of large population states. Any votes above the one vote margin to win the states electoral votes are “wasted” votes. They effect national polls but are “medium level” (My term!) indicators as to who will win. Polls in the battleground state are better. Probably polls of those battleground states coupled with the key bellwether counties are the best.
I’ve noticed the pattern that all of these contrived media outrages take. Trump invariably says something that the media considers outrageous and it results in about 3 days of falling poll numbers. Then the sheep forget about it and Trump rebounds. I think I have figured out Trump’s strategy thus far.
He has always planned to be provocative and outrageous through Labor Day. Think of the narrative he’s produced. Double down on Muslim immigration, branding Clinton and Obama the heads of ISIS, Clinton’s as corrupt, dissing Ryan McCain and Ayotte and lumping the press in as Crooked with Hillary. Come September, he will unleash an air campaign on her, reinforcing the points he just made the past month. The debates will be key. Nobody likes Hillary. It’s a polling fact that her numbers go down when people are exposed to her. Trump just needs to sound reasonable. But the biggest thing he has to do is to make no unforced errors the last 2 weeks. He cannot give the media any excuse to create a BS issue against him. Stay on message and I think he wins this thing about 303-235.
