Trump is very different here. I’ve never seen him like this and it is very very good and positive and effective.
Yes I agree. He was calm and did not raise his voice. Had a calming, authoritative effect. I believe he should use this more, to calm the fears of those that have fallen for the narrative that he is dangerous. We all know Hillary is the real dangerous one.
I just listened to the whole speech, you know, IMO, the MSM will never report this speech, because in it, we see the calm, deliberate, contemplative professional that the Democrats do not want you to know exists. Here he is with his contemporaries, and comfortable. No interruptions, he says what he wants and needs to say, and speaks to those who understand his views, and I think, agree with him.
He reason for running for president is so obvious to me, and I know that infuriates the Democrat among us. But, given the facts, which by the way, are irrefutable, they have to disagree, for the only other option, is to acknowledge that he is correct, and Hillary Clinton is disregarding the facts, lying to the public, and has no clue how to fix things.
Obvious to me at least, is that she want to continue with Obamas legacy. How exactly will that help this country? He is a failed president, with failed policies, and to continue down that path purposely, tells me, that she has no clue about the problems of this country, or how to fix them.
Great speech, I hope others take the time to listen to it, and pass it along....
And Trump is masterfully using social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter). As such, Trump’s campaign is running for the cost of a bag of peanuts, while Hillary’s campaign is spending a fortune in TV ads.
this is the real Trump, his rally’s are more raucus to stir up the crown, that’s what rally’s are for. Trump is a very intelligent person, the media wants to make you think otherwise.

I would rate it A+++. Relating his Dad’s homebuilding to his own life. I am guessing many homebuilders are multi generational/family businesses. Pulling out his great chart showing home ownership at it’s lowest in 50, IIRC, years. His soft-spoken, confident, “I’m just like you” presentation.
I’ve been on the Trump Train over a year. His take no prisoners, in your face honesty was not offensive to me. I realize he now has to win over folks like my Mom, and older relatives with a more genteel Trump.
I am listening now and giggling. He said Hillary’s speeches are so short, then she gets out and goes to sleep. Three days later she gets up and does it again. He said she’s proposing a tax increase today in her teleprompter speech, LOL.

I don’t think it was a written speech. At least there was a lot of ad lib and typical Trump repeating phrases.
If it was a prepared speech, he delivered it as if it were not, maybe using an outline.
I don’t know of course, but it looked to me to NOT be a prepared speech.
Just classic Trump telling it like it is (calmly), connecting personally with his audience as if he was just speaking to a bunch of his friends.
Is this Trump being....wait for it....... PRESIDENTIAL?
