This is a new and improved Trump. He's relaxed and delivering a great speech. He is on message and focused on Hillary and only Hillary.

Trump now seems to use surrogates and leave all the side issues to them. He is very focused on one target Hillary.

He is so mellow in this speech and effective communicating. This is definitely a different Trump. What gives him all this confidence? What does he know we don't know?

This is what Rush was saying. Not negative, but he said this was a much more relaxed and softer Trump speech-—no less hard hitting.

I think the stars are aligning for a blowout. Something just tells me that Cankles shot her whole wad in the last 3 weeks and has nothing left, while Trump is sitting on a mountain of money.

Trump is so different and so effective here. He is intoxicatingly confident and dominant without being overbearing.

It’s because he is delivering the speech as written and is not speaking extemporaneously. It’s when he wings it that he makes comments that wind up in the media.

It’s something else. He is reading from notes but don’t think there is a teleprompter.

Trump has made rookie mistakes. It’s to be expected for a non-politician. But it has to stop. Yes, I know he doesn’t mean it, as the media will spin it, but that doesn’t matter. You have to have better situational awareness.

Hopefully he’ll turn the corner, the good news is, there’s still a lot of time, and this election is still going to go down to the wire.

God, I hope he is doing in-house polling with perhaps Kellyanne Conway (who is poker-faced on TV) or Florida Governor Scott’s pollster Tony Fabrizio.
Bill Mitchell tweeted yesterday that his insider in Ohio says Trump is up between 7 and 9 points in The Buckeye State.
Plus, Trump has added a rally for this Saturday night in Connecticut!!!

It's more than just that. Today's speech was super-confident and person-to-person instead of person-to-huge arena.

No need to yell, Donald John. They'll turn up the mic, as you well know.

True, but the audience and venue might have an impact.

Watch to see if at the larger rallies with the general public if his delivery isn’t more amped up. Like most of us, he likely is positively influenced by the energy of the audience.

It’s when he wings it that he makes comments that wind up in the media.

Anything he says is twisted in the media.

If he said "The sun rises in the east" the LSM would declare Trump is stupid for not realizing the earth rotates. They would also declare him bigoted for not recognizing sunsets as equals of sunrises.

I think Trump’s high tempo of rallies is great because it is subliminally contrasted with Hillary’s “life support” campaign tempo.

Seventy percent of Hillary’s campaign has been outsourced to the media, imo.

You have to have better situational awareness.

I often wonder why those of you who seem to have all the answers don't just run for your selves. I mean certainly you would have bypassed 16 gope candidates, the gope, dnc, hillary and the msm without getting your hands dirty, right?

I watched most on replay and I sure agree , he was very relaxed and real. He related to them so well remembering his Dad was a home builder. I love his charts. They are devastating.
I was disappointed he didn’t talk about the bombshell today from the DOJ IG office how Centcom “generals” appointed by obama, was changing the DOJ annalist projections and status of Isis to fit obama’s narrative of wine and roses. But then he is not running against Hussien. And he will fire the generals at Centcom within 30 days of his taking office for endangering our troops with lies.

No kidding. Imagine if Trump had “better situational awareness.” He would have beat the GOPe field twice over.

I’m sure he has been burned by “false” statements so much that he is checking and rechecking every single fact that goes out.

I am so glad you said this. I keep asking people who seem to know what Trump “needs” to do if they guarantee a rise in the polls if he does what they do. To date none have responded.

The fact is that all who think they know what Trump needs to do have no idea what is required to help him win the presidency. That is the fact.
