New Bill Will Make Drinking Coffee While Driving a Criminal Act

“Violators could face a $200 to $400 fine for the first offense and a $400 to $600 fine for a second offense. A third or subsequent offense could mean a fine of $600 to $800 and up to a 90 day license suspension, as well as motor vehicle points,” according to nj.com.

I’m guessing you’re gonna have to have an approved laser-scannable tax cup for your coffee that gets tagged every time you raise it to sip. It’s all about money.

Why not just regulate how many breaths you have daily? Or how many times you can chew a stick of gum. This stuff is getting ridiculous.

No wonder states like NJ have very stringent guns laws. Were I politician there, I would want stringent gun laws too, kind of self survival.

This is nothing but another revenue maker, period, end of story.
