Sheesh, don’t you just love how this Pope, amongst many other people, are defending the religion which beheads and crucifies children and burns people alive, while constantly criticising Christians for not having yet reached perfection on this earth? If Christians were to start committing horrendous acts, does anyone really believe that the same people would defend Christianity as a “religion of peace”?

Poles have been through hell since 1914 (and before). Can you really blame them for not taking in any foreigners? 6 years of German occupation follow by more years of Soviet occupation, and now Mid east occupation? If I was Polish, I’d offer to send all the invaders to Vatican City and pay for the transportation. The poles are still dealing with their imported labor who went through normal channels to get there. Its not like the poles have a booming economy that can accept more migrants. Besides, most of the migrants will probably want to go west so they can sneak into Germany from Poland. You don’t see them rushing into the Ukraine or Belorussian.
The Polish people can tell the Pope to go back to the Vatican where he is infallible.

It really is a terrible thing. Think about the conundrum Catholics in the pews ( including myself) are left with. This kind of talk about Islam seems heretical to me. If you have a liberal priest here in the USA ,inspired by Pope Francis, who starts preaching during a homily about how we all believe in the same God, is it not appropriate to consider this heretical. Islam denies Christ as God. How can a Christian claim that Muslims worship the same God when they deny the trinity and the divinity of Christ. I am seriously wondering if it would not be appropriate to walk out of church during such a sermon.
Not my favorite Pope, but the headline is misleading. I don’t see a direct quote that he “demanded” anything of the kind. Until then, I’d reserve judgment.

The devil wants you to pan worship congregations (which are spoken of in the bible) so that you lose out on an aspect of Christian faith that Jesus personally put there.
