I’ve got no problem with this. All of us should claim that, at least for today, that we feel ‘black’ and ask for our share.
If ‘feeling’ that one is female (or male) is sufficient to change your gender, then ‘feeling’ black should be sufficient to qualify as being black.

It’s been said that as a whole demographic group, the last time black people were a boon to America and not a burden was when they were enslaved, which is a horrible thing to say because their are many dark-hued individuals who are good and hardworking people, but ultimately the above statement is an indictment not on white culture and their beliefs but black culture and their behavior.
Poor thing! blaming Whitey for all your self-inflicted pathologies. Get a life, go to work at a real job, don’t break the law, don’t go around making babies, stop whining, and STFU.
In my neck of the South, that girl be called a “ginger”. But lots of black folks around here have green or hazel eyes, too.

Slavery is the ultimate theft of individual liberty and individual labor, and an affront to civilized people. That slavery existed in a land founded on the concept of human liberty was a blood crime, that was paid in blood during the Civil War.
It was further paid by belated but fortunately relatively non-violent end of state enforced discrimination (a separate crime that is still depressingly common across the globe).
No individual legally held as a slave is still alive to receive reparations (if they were, it would be right and proper to pay them)
No individual who legally held people as slaves is still alive to pay those reparations. (if they were, they would have a moral obligation to repay slaves for their stolen labor and liberty)
With no individual alive to pay or receive reparations, why are we having this discussion?

My great great grandfather lost his life. My great grandfather lost his leg and his brother was killed ( my great uncle). All wore the blue uniform.

White people that march with BLM should have a place to spend their money. Funding blacks will help BLM, and more than likely lead to more black-on-black killins.
One can pick up on the personality type with all her comments about how exhausted and busy she is, so busy she can’t eat, can’t sleep... we know this type of drama queen.
The US taxpayer has been paying “reparations” right along since about 1965 through various transfers, direct funds, busing/de-segregation of school-children, preferred employment under the guise of “equal opportunity”, and on and on. If this group has not been made whole yet, whose damn fault is that?
They should check her family history to see if her ancestors owned slaves.
