Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby has dropped all charges against the remaining police officers (video below). All charges were dropped against all the officers who faced trial in connection with the death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray April 2015.
The decision was announced during pretrial motions for Officer Garrett Miller, who was the next to face charges of second-degree assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment.

I’m not an attorney, but it seems to me to be a universal rule that no lawyer who is on the losing end of a judge’s decision ever comes out in public and criticizes the judge.
This includes prosecutors.
I’ve always assumed the reason for that is that time has taught the legal profession that criticizing a judge who rules against you in court is basically a career-ending move.
Marilyn Mosby seems not to have gotten that memo.
Well that’s what you do if you are a lyin’ liberal you blame others for your failures, and with a straight face.
Mosby is like an open book. A book about self aggrandizement.
Wait, you sayin they burned B’more fer nothin?
We want our reparations!
Mosby just wants to know how the Revolution is ever going to happen if Uncle Toms like Judge Williams start favoring white facts over black emotions. Seems like a reasonable question. :)
Blaming the judge...not usually a good idea.
I heard some of her news conference today, and wondered why she isn’t disbarred and charged with inciting a riot. Those around her were becoming more and more agitated the more she spoke.
The woman is delusional. Can you imagine being married to her?
Must be a lot of ‘Yes, Dear!” going on.
“Mosbys shifting the blame from herself, via bringing charges without sufficient evidence, and instead blaming Judge Barry Williams for not convicting despite the lack of evidence.”
Worse than that, she just put a target on the judge’s back.
After much thought and prayer it has become clear that without being able to work with an independent investigatory agency from the very start, without having a say in the election of whether cases proceed in front of a judge or jury, without communal oversight of police in this community, without substantive reforms to the current criminal justice system, we could try this case 100 times and cases just like it and we would still end up with the same result.
~Marilyn Mosby
Ho Lee Phuck....
Blame the Judge?
Wanted to stack the deck with an investigatory that would do what? Suppress, contrive or wholesale manufacture evidence?
Deny the accused of a trial of their choosing by Judge or peers?
WTF does “communal oversight of police in this community, without substantive reforms to the current criminal justice system” have to do with the cases at hand?
You didn’t want justice.
You wanted to drop an anvil on the scales of justice influencing social change and instituting social justice. Not for the content of their crime but, for the content of melanin.
Context, pretext and a whole raft of requirements to proceed to a conviction aren’t all that important to you and you are not a public servant.
Nor is the public some servile noblese you can abuse by power of your ascension.
“we could try this case 100 times and cases just like it and we would still end up with the same result.
Really? Maybe your case was actually full of holes, much the same a sieve is.
Then again, maybe you are weak, defective and lacking any integrity.
She’s a hero to incompetent people around the world. If she can do-not-do-it, so might they. And if she eventually leaves too greasy a skid-mark as prosecutor and gets the boot, there’s always a future as penthouse pet.
It be Whitey’s fault! Let’s burn and loot!
Marilyn Mosby, why you buggin’?

Thou actually does protest too much...
She be like, blamin de POLICE, too
I am an attorney. I argued my butt off yesterday in front of a judge. Lost all three motions and my client headed back to lockup. I smiled, nodded, and told the judge “thank you” and “see you on the 16th. Sometime down the road, when it’s a close call either way, the judge will remember how a rough day was handled. They don’t forget.
And what about the judge's colleagues? They hear the story too, don't they?
She’s an incompetent affirmative action hire... She should be disbarred for her behavior all over this matter. But she’s black, she’s a woman and she’s a democrat... So don’t hold your breath.
Hey Mosby, a real judge done to go by what a SJW thinks but b actual facts. Guess you didn’t get that memo.
