Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Sunday she is stepping down as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee at the end of the party's convention, which is set to begin here Monday.
The Florida congresswoman's resignation -- under pressure from top Democrats -- comes amid the release of leaked emails showing DNC staffers favoring Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders in the party's 2016 primary contest.
Her announcement that she was leaving had pro-Sanders supporters cheering during a demonstration in Philadelphia and Donald Trump crowing, too.

I don’t understand why Sanders is still supporting hillary. Under the circumstances, Sanders should be given the VP nod, at the very least. Think how well that would play in middle-America battleground states. <^..^>
She is not leaving until Jan 2017 and she figures Hillary will have something better for her after Hillary wins. She is just in “hiding”.
Hate to agree with a libtard like Bill Press, but he’s right, if they don’t make her disappear now it’s just going to help keep the issue front and center during the convention.
Ofc the Mediascum will do their best to ignore it all, including ignoring the emails that show blatant collusion and political corruption between the DNC and CNN, Politico, NBC and MSNBC etc.
Every media interview about the Convention should include a question about DWS.

Remember not long ago when the conventional wisdom said the Republicans would have a ruinous convention & the Democrats would have a smooth convention? I guess they didn’t figure on WIKILEAKS.
