Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will not have a major speaking role or preside over daily convention proceedings this week, a decision reached by party officials Saturday after emails surfaced raising questions about the committee's impartiality during the Democratic primary.
The DNC Rules Committee has named Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, as permanent chair of the convention, according to a DNC source. She will gavel each session to order and will gavel each session closed.
"She's been quarantined," another top Democrat said of Wasserman Schultz.

She is a detestable hillery hack who used her paid party office to submarine democracy. It is discouraging to see insiders rig systems and nominations. The Republican tried very hard to do that but were over run.

True, we’ve seen proof of the huge extent to which CHuck Todd, NBC, Jake Tapper and CNN, and Politico are total subservient tools of the DNC. We all knew this already ofc, from their so-called reporting, but the emails provide incontrovertible proof that the Democrats have media puppets who simply follow orders.

She is a sitting congresswoman. Not sure she can be paid by the party.
